The popular minimalist sat-nav is back with a second generation model that will have wider appeal than the original
Customers share mixed experiences about the Moto 2's quality and functionality as a navigation device. Many appreciate its compact design, ease of use, and clear display, making it ideal for motorbikes. Some highlight improvements over its predecessor, like faster updates in dense areas and better charging options. However, criticisms include software limitations, reliance on a phone connection, subscription costs for certain features, and occasional device malfunctions. Overall, while some find it a worthwhile enhancement, others point out areas needing development.
Small, powerful and does the job well.
Gives enough info for directions at junctions, roundabouts either in town or out on the twisties.
No need for massive mount, loads of wires or a headset.
Superb piece of kit and miles (or kilometers) better than the original.
A must buy.
Brilliant bit of kit even if only used as spare for emergency, very good price
I like the intuitive feel of it, its easy to understand and follow. I like that there's no audio, its small and looks well on the handlebars. I've owned the version 1 before and used it across Europe with ease. the fun road function is a great feature. There are no bells and whistles and the app supporting it can be slow and clunky at times. The version one latest 3000 miles before the screen stopped working. I was refunded in full no no harm done but I'm hopeful this unit is more robust
I would not have bought this product without SportBikeShop because I had to check I could read a small sat nav at handlebar distance without glasses! In store try buy made it possible!
Bought this after having a beeline 1 for a few years and this item is a significant improvement over the first model, simple to set up with your phones bluetooth and offers pretty comprehensive features ,i am a blood biker and paired with what3 words this is a godsend for routing me to places i;m not familiar with...also has miles remaining to destination ,ETA, odometer and speedo.....highly recommended.
Love this sat nav for as it's simplistic as I do not need a fancy expensive sat nav, just need to get to A to B. The only issue I have had with this satnav was the geometry not lining up in the direction I was going in, however this was soon sorted after going on the beeline faq.
Easy to use, clear and concise directions.
The handle bar mount received with the Beeline II was is inadequate, when I try to install the Beeline II it just twists the mounting on the elastic bands.
Wish the sound at junctions would kick in earlier and not at the roundabout eg.other wish it s great
Good route planning / navigation with readable directions and audible alerts. Scoffs quite a lot of phone battery though so on long trips (over 5 hours) depending on your mobile battery condition, you may need your phone being charged (even on low power mode - 5 year old iPhone SE with 80% battery capacity). Beeline app a bit limited in terms of selecting route parameters (highways, tolls, fun or fast but no ability to search for petrol stations or supermarkets that was obvious to me) and your phone will need a data pack if abroad to access the app correctly. Took it on a trip to France and it was excellent, easy to remove / install, isn’t as obtrusive as a Tom Tom or similar and doesn’t clutter the bike.
Easy to set up, basic directions but works well and gets you to where you want to go. For me it is small and indiscreet when fitted to bike. Thumbs up
Very easy to set up and use, clear screen even on a bright sunny day. Brought it so that i did not have to find somewhere to fit a bulky phone but that gave me the features i wanted to see. Not sure how long the silicone bands that attach the mount to the handle bars will last but time will tell.
Overall happy with purchase
This is a fantastic product, small compact which doesn't ruin the look of the bike, very easy to fit and opperate 14 hours operation on a full charge , I feels like you have a handy mate who just gives you a nod to turn in the right direction, have been using this for two weeks and can't praise enough, highly recommended
Small discreet. Minimal simple functions Good. Would I cross europe on an adventure bike with it - no. Would I use it day to day - yes.
Good product but requires a internet signal at all times
I've had expensive Garmin & TomTom in the past. I've even used my phone and Google maps. But this is much better - tells you just what you need to know, when you need to know it. Only drawback is you can't plan a route if your phone is out of coverage
Improvement on first Beeline whilst still being simple and clear.
Great update on the previous model which I lost and very prompt delivery
You can hardly notice on the bike. Easy to fit and remove using supplied mount. App works just like google maps for route planning, fun feature is good. One or 2 grass lined roads, but you can rate the section to give feedback by pressing a button on the unit,
Visually it is easy to see at a glance. Sometimes I’d like a bit more detail around complicated junctions, but I’m still getting used to it. Reroutes quickly enough and allows you to keep you phone in your pocket rather than clutter up the dash.
I’m happy with it for my occasional use, rather than having phone float in the breeze. You can charge and use at the same time.
I wanted this for the size, but did not get the first version due to the display. This updated version is easier to read and helps be find good routes and get to my cafe for a fry up.
