Scratched the old one, direct simple replacement

Better than clear in sun but not very dark

The silver lock clasp on the visor broke off, I assumed it was just a wear and tear issue so purchased a new visor, however within a couple of weeks of purchase the same happened with the new visor. I rode straight to the Leeds store who very kindly swapped out the visor but advised that they were doing it as a courtesy as HJC have released an advisement about how to operate the clasp to stop it breaking off and thus distancing themselves from replacing faulty goods!?! Hats to the Leeds store for replacing the item but shame on HJC for putting out a product that is clearly defective. Until I purchase new helmet (that won’t be HJC) I’ll have to ensure I operate the visor with kid glove so it doesn’t fall apart….

Visor is good when it's sunny. Even though it's dark tint you still have good vission. This was 1 of the easiest Visors to change that I have experienced.

It's a Shoei visor, so of course it's high quality. And of course it's expensive. But if the knock-offs are coming in at 1/4 of the price or less, and are almost certainly made in the same factory, there's really no justification for this price Shoei, come on.
Otherwise, this does exactly what it says on the tin.

First of all a big thank you to SBS as I had ordered the wrong size. As others have said not a very silver effect and only a slight tint but better than the original, fits like a glove and easy to change.
