Arai VAS-V Type Pro Shade Visor System - Road Legal Arai VAS-V Type Pro Shade Visor System - Road Legal
The shade visor system is comprised of a clear visor with an integrated sun visor, which is smaller in dimensions than the clear visor. The sun visor stays in situ and can be easily lowered on the move (though it does require two hands to raise it up). To my knowledge, a Pinlock purchase is advised, as the sun visor/shade is not interchangeable. It wasn't too fiddly to fit and personally I think it's a great bit of kit. Most excellent service from Sportsbikeshop, as usual.

Shark OXO Visor - Road Legal Shark OXO Visor - Road Legal
It's a good quality product, well finished with no sharp edges etc. It might help a bit, as I wanted something that would make the world darker when It's bright and sunny. Shark don't do a darker drop down sun visor for this helmet - pity - so hopefully with the current drop down and this tinted visor, my world will be darker. Could always wear sunglasses I suppose, but tunnels and stuff cause problems with vision.

Shoei CNS-1 Pinlock Ready Clear Visor - Road Legal Shoei CNS-1 Pinlock Ready Clear Visor - Road Legal
Replacement Shoei visor for GT Air II .
Visor works better than previous GT Air, and helmet is good fit for me and comfortable. Ventilation is poor and a nightmare in damp conditions when visor mists up badly.

After a mucky winter and scratching my visor with a visor wipe on my glove it's great to have clear vision again.

Shark Evo ES AS/AF Clear Visor - Road Legal Shark Evo ES AS/AF Clear Visor - Road Legal
We have been using Shark Evo helmets for a number of years. A couple of years ago, Shark changed from the VZ150 to the VZ250. Since then we have had nothing but problems with breakages of the visor locating tab. This most recent lasted less than 3 minutes. I stopped at a second set of lights and pushed the visor up. The visor tab snapped and the helmet would not close. Honestly the worst quality I have seen in years. Considering this is supposed to protect you in a crash, one visor snapped off completely brushing against a house plant! This is the 5th visor failed like this and we have to carry gaffer tape for WHEN they fail. The only fix is a new non-Shark helmet I think.
