Struggled to get a good fit, I had air coming through on left cheek. Review was going to be poor.

Steph the manager at Leeds sorted for me and showed me how the fit could be adjusted. Every day is a school day!

Now, above new visor, airtight on helmet, locks into position better, thanks!

Excellent customer support and service from SBS, as usual.
On my 3rd visor in 4 years. They don't last long, scratch and chip easily and also steam up if you don't get a pinlock for it. Held onto the last one for far too long and, as the days get shorter, the streetlights and car headlights were bringing up all the horrible fine scratching diffusing the light. At least it was on reduced price, which did help as full price is ridiculously expensive. Still, £58 for a piece of plastic on top of which you've to pay another £27 for another piece of plastic so the first piece doesn't steam up is insane.

This visor is perfect for summer riding reducing glare, without being dark in the shade of the trees, it is also sufficiently light for dusk time rides. Road legal, great choice to get the best of both worlds without needing to use the internal sun visor.

Review is based on the visor which is not SBS fault - now had three of these and every single one has had an issue with the pin lock pins - they are very weak and snap off - in addition the Shoei visors have poor quality plastic which tends to start cracking causing lots of little plastic bits on visor.espacially on bottom edge.

As said the key issue is the very poor wuality of the Pinlock pins - def need to ck doer if I want a shoei lid again - especially as Shoei even be bothered to reply back to messages.
