If you don't ride in the cold all the time then spending a lot on winter gloves makes little sense. These budget options will help for occasional chilly rides
Customers generally express satisfaction with the quality, fit, and warmth of these gloves. They note good padding, comfort, and effective wind protection. However, several customers mention limited effectiveness in very cold temperatures (around 4°C) and a few report issues with fit, recommending to size up. Waterproofing seems adequate, although untested in heavy rain for some. Overall, these gloves are appreciated for their price, comfort, and decent performance in cool weather, but may require additional layers for extreme cold.
Can’t really say a lot as I’ve only worn them once but they seemed ok
Advertised as waterproof but they're not. Ok for a shower. I rode 1hr in decent rain and I had two sponges for gloves.
I purchased these gloves as I only had summer gloves that were not waterproof. These gloves are waterproof and feel great.
Have to give these a poor score. First time I used the gloves was for a wet hour long ride. I could literally squeeze them out whilst on my hand like a sponge. Not as described. Richa is a brand that I really like and have had great service from in the past. So let down.
Good price for quality gloves, only problem is the fit on the joint of the fingers because it is not quite right for me (personally).
I've struggled to find a decent winter glove and it appears I still am.
There's no doubting the quality of this glove, it IS very good, good padding without affecting grip, decent protection and well made. On initial trying on, fit is very good. Im an 8(m) and this fit perfectly. It's got a lovely warm thinsulate liner too but the proof is in the riding.
Tried in temperature of around 4 deg with some windchill and within 30 mins my fingers were numb so had to stop and get some circulation back in them.
Went out again another day, around 8 deg with little wind and they were good for about an hour before the cold got through.
I recommend them for anything around 8 degrees + but lower than that my search continues.
I'll caveat this with me probably feeling the cold a bit more at my old age (50's)
Very comfortable and good quality gloves
For the price these gloves are really good. It was on offer. A little bit bulky and not very stylish but I guess winter gloves are like this. Kept my hands warmish in 4°C temperature. Haven't tried them in rain yet. For a quick weekend blast in cool weather it's OK, longer trips, I'm not sure. Sizing is all right. I've ordered the same size I usually buy. Delivery couldn't be quicker. It was next day! A+ service as always from SBS! Thanks
Had to return my heated gloves under warranty for repairs.. these did the job suprisingly holding up in -2 weather, id sah they are showerproof rather than waterproof as i was riding in heavy rain and water got inside.
All in all a good purchase.
Pretty decent gloves at a reasonable price. I wanted something thicker and warmer than my Alpine Stars as winter approached. These gloves have proven to be fine for 2-3 hour rides at 10 degrees ambient, no cold fingers. They seem perfectly well made and comfortable.
Gloves fit nicely, untried in the cold but are very warm now.
Overgloves are waterproof so far but watch sizing, wrist is very snug but the body of the glove is fine
For the low price these are a great winter glove. Fit was fantastic for me. Far better than gloves from more exotic brands. They offer a decent amount of dexterity. I found them to be warm enough in all but sub zero temperatures. In the coldest weather the tips of my fingers still suffered. Ultimately I am very happy with this purchase and would strongly recommend this product.
Great gloves, they keep the cold out have ridden in the cold November / December 2020 and my hands stayed warm and dry. With ref to other comments yes the fingers are a bit long but you soon get use to them and I can still use all controls OK.
Should have thrown out old split gloves a long time ago.these new ones are great so far!
actually water proof I mean get that does what it says on the tin...and warm..even in mild condition I can get the ole white finger but I must say with these beauties just warm hands..like all winter style gloves however operating the switch gear can be a bit like enjoying your own company with boxing gloves on.. but not bad not bad at all
Nice and wam and so far waterproof glove that feels nice. Sure it's nothing compared to the more expensive types for quality but if your looking for a glove that won't break the bank this is not bad!
Nice fitting glove.
Fairly warm but will need a thicker glove for really cold days
Brought these gloves to wear when to cold for summer gloves and to hot for heated gloves. they very waterproof, comfy and warm. these are my got to gloves at the moment with these mild November temperatures. They have the added bonus of a visor wiper. Two hour ride on the motorway hands dry and warm!
