So.....
If you want to use this for short period of time before your next swap I guess it's ok.
Personally, I have used this on my commuter bike (not for racing) and it was a huge pain to remove it, socket wrench couldn't do anything it actually broke the socket bit that sticks out and because of the socket bit sticking out you cannot use a conventional oil filter wrench to remove it as the socket bit is in the way. I had to resort to buying a chain oil filter wrench to be able to get it out. Immediately afterwards I put the normal HF-204 non-race version with no socket bits on it, on that one I was able to use a normal oil filter wrench to remove it and had zero problems every time. So if you know what you're doing you can buy HF-204RC but otherwise just go for HF-204.

For the price I change filter every time I change oil. I only wish they've put splines on the sides if the nut wasn't meant for install. otherwise very happy.

Not your ordinary filter

Ok. So it is. But is has the hex head on the top that makes for easier ons, and especially offs.
Triumph recess the filter in the crankcases, so can be awkward to get at with a chain wrench.
This makes it sooooooo easy.
Yes I could buy a different filter wrench, but with this, no need.
