Oxford Rainseal Over Jacket - Bright

Great jacket so far keeps the rain out and quick delivery to Ireland

Having tried the new Merlin breathable set and found them wanting an a moderate rain storm, I can back to the tried and tested Oxford jacket and it's been peerless even in the mad rain we have had on the UK in September.

Works well and reasonably priced

Excellent protection against the rain making for a more comfortable ride. Extremely high-vis so on a grey wet day you stand more chance of being seen.
I can't comment on longevity because I've only had it a week but seems and looks to be well made and up to the job.
I bought the matching trousers too and my partner was so impressed he invested in a set which kept him completely dry on a 56 mile outing to get his wheel bearings replaced in the wind and rain that came with storm Amy!!
I'd recommend on everything other than how well they'll stand the test of time and British weather!

Does what it says on the box, lightweight, highly visible and above all,
Waterproof.

Had to order this and the matching trousers and mitts as my expensive ‘waterproof’ riding kit turned out to be full of leaks. Id got a soaking a couple of days before my DAS course started and so needed something in a hurry. SportsBikeShop got this to me just in time, as on day2 of the DAS course, it rained hard all day.
I was very impressed with this item as it kept me dry despite the rain continuing all day.
Sizing was perfect fit to go over my riding kit, and was easy to get on and off. Faultless.
My only regret? I didnt order something to go over my boots - they were full of water when i got home.

I wear some thick layers and textiles during late Autumn and Winter amd so ordered a 4XL size as I am 6ft 2 in tall. I have had it a week and worn it 3 times on 4 hour day rides on my Honda CBF1000 in the Brecon Beacons area. It fits fine over everything and it is visible to other traffic. Offering some good protection against wind blast and it did not leak in the only rain we had, mild showers. It is quite good quality for the price though. I cannot say how it will hold up in heavier rain yet though. Hence 3 stars maybe 4.

Does what it’s supposed to

I ordered the same size as my normal jacket and it fit over it perfectly. Rode in driving rain on the motorway and I stayed bone dry underneath. This thing really lights up at night, my wife was following me and said the visibility was excellent.
Only niggle is that there's no way to tighten the arms, they do flap a lot at speed.

Fits perfectly and the safety aspects are a valuable part of its rainproof purpose

Its really really bright at night. its also waterproof. if you're looking for those 2 things then buy this..

Really good at keeping the wetstuff off, cuts the cooling wind and doesn't take much space once you have battled it back into the bag

I stayed dry! Fits well over my jacket and did its job
