Oxford Rainseal Over Jacket - Bright

It’s okay for a couple of hours in heavy rain. After that, some water does get in, but not significantly. When combined with a water-repellent jacket, it performs well for longer periods in the rain.

Bought on the recommendation of a fellow rider and my training school. Excellent price and offers a good degree of waterproofing. Good quality finish and materials.

Having been caught before with no waterproofs or suitable textiles before finally decided to do something about it at last, to be used in emergencies and won't feel like a cold drowned rat next time :)

You will be seen with this jacket on the light hits it and glow excellent product would highly recommend and you won’t get wet

It's better than the trousers and good in an emergency when I'm not already wearing my built-in waterproof clothing

Great product, waterproof, when risked up in it's own carry bag very compact

Have not tried it out yet but it seems to fit well and I guess will do the job.

Not used in anger yet but a great fit over jacket. Mrs is well pleased.

My second Rainseal jacket. First one lasted 8 years. This new one is slightly improved over the old one but still has the main flaw in my opinion. The sleeves are too short! Almost impossible to get the sleeves to cover your gloves so rain will seep down the arms and into my gloves. But, that’s the only negative. The positives are that the jacket is actually waterproof and keeps you dry and warm. It fits well and I wear a medium bike jacket so bought the medium rain seal and it fits perfectly. The jacket has good high visibility panels which I like as in rainy conditions it helps you be seen a little easier. I like the lining of the jacket it’s comfortable to wear. One zip pocket which is useful. Finally, for the price it’s brilliant value. Just wish Oxford would make the sleeves a bit longer and it would be perfect.

Too baggy around the neck, the zip is flimsy and splits at the bottom. Not worth the money

Whilst this doesn't pack down as tightly as other rain jackets I've had, it is however silly bright. With the dark winter evenings, being a bit more visible can never be a bad thing ...which is just as well, as you can see this from the moon, when caught in the glare of other vehicle headlights. Well made with strong seams, I'm not expecting this to split as my prior no-name rain shell did.

I buy a lot of Oxford gear as it is all good quality and this jacket is no difference, I bought the same size as my main jacket and it fits comfortably over the top with no feeling of cramp, I went for the separate jacket and trousers as they are easier to put on at the side of the road

Had this over my normal oxford mondial jacket in medium. I bought the large and it is a fantastic piece of kit. It has goven me an extra layer of warmth without the awkwardness of mobility. It also so great riding in the dark as it is very reflective. Ridden all winter with this on and even when it was -3 and feeling like -13 out on the bike i didn't get cold on my chest. Well worth purchasing
