I purchased these trousers to pair with my summer gear as a backup for unexpected rain. It fits perfectly over all my riding trousers/jeans, including my bulky adventure trousers.
These trousers are very well-made, and it's clear that it will withstand all kinds of British rain. To complete the perfect layering system, I also bought the matching Oxford trousers, and they work seamlessly together. Both the trousers and jacket have a great overlap, ensuring that when I'm sitting on the bike, there are no gaps exposed to the elements.
Don't underestimate how bright the reflective coating is! My partner was impressed by how effective it is. If any drivers claim they didn't see you while wearing this, they definitely need to have their eyes checked!
I've also used the jacket and trousers as waterproof layers while hiking. Both items come with handy storage bags for easy packing

Do everything a over trouser should do, keeping you warm and dry. More importantly with these is the reflective capacity of these trousers, I feel like people really are more aware of my presence.
