Lovely fit for me. Tried on a few in store and this was the most comfortable. I use a Sena hands free kit and this also has loads of options to fit the speakers, microphone and unit itself. Designed brilliantly

Really good helmet, excellent quality and comfortable. I have fitted Sena/HJC Smart 50b intercom and it looks very sleek. Amazing airflow.

I have to drop couple of stars for visor opening position and wind noise, unfortunately.

As the latch of the visor on the left side, opening the visor with the right-hand, which I prefer to do, is quite difficult, meaning I have to reach across the helmet onto another side. This could be just a preferance as I had Shark helmet before with the latch on the right side and was better in my case.

As others have mentioned, wind noise. It is definitely noticeable and especially on higher speed. Personally, for me it is not as bad as the others are saying and I do not have ringing in my ears after hours of riding. However, it is much louder than my previous Shark helmet.

Will be probably looking into other brands after this one.

In my opinion this helmet is super comfortable as you would expect from HJC. In comparison to my older model RPHA 70 it is louder but ventilation system is better but again is louder as it lets more air in.
On a rainy day with pin lock attached didn't fog up at all so I think I just have to get used to the noise and enjoy not having to open the visor to get rid of the fog.

Not as good as the previous model

Brought to replace the previous HJC helmet after 3 yrs of ownership. It does seem to be suffer slightly higher wind noise than before. As if the ear area has been left out for padding. And HJC moving to Sena comms locations does reduce fitting options for Cardo. Got it fitted ok but a bit of a waste of options. Just leave it standard and owners can suit themselves

Only purchased a week of so ago as an upgrade to my existing hjc rpha st helmet and following the advice on "best fit" given by the great team at sprortsbike shop Southampton. Tried on in shop for recommended time of 20 mins, no headaches etc so purchased. Have tried on at home for the 45 mins (as also recommended to make sure of comfort) and is very comfortable with only slight pressure from the cheek pads. Loved the colours, very noticable in daylight or at night time, Sun visor operation nice and smooth. Just waiting for some dry weather now to use it. Great price, would highly recommend trying in shop.

Too noisy

Was convinced to buy this helmet by one of the sales assistants, it’s comfortable enough and a decent looking lid but on the bike it is far too noisy, other reviews have commented on this and I should have checked before buying.
Would recommend to stay away from this product as the wind noise is unbearable, even with good quality earplugs.

My experience buying at SBS has been very satisfactory. People I have delt with so far have been helpful and professional. The helmet is exceptional value for money. The fit and finish is excellent and the included Pinlock is very useful.

A little bit of wind noise makes its way through but nothing worth worrying about. Definitely worth the money.

I watched many of Tony's fantastic indepth review of many helmets and settled on this on. Tony was spot on. Helmet needs a little time to break in and is a very well put together product and it arrived in good time. I live in northern Ireland and had no problems getting it across

The helmet itself is great, from the inner shade visor, instructions, and included pinlock. It also have an accessory to change the chin mount. It's a bit annoying how the plastic doesn't do a great job holding a cardo and I have to use the sticky tape mount. It should be fine but it is something to note... Maybe you can get an adapter but it's fine. Otherwise, I think it's a comfortable and good headset. Just need the required headset to get the full feature set from it.

Noisy let-down

Excellent fit and finish, good quality paint and fits me very well.

Unfortunately it produces a horrible, turbulent, howling noise above 40mph, due to two holes on the bottom of the helmet, one near the sun visor switch and one on the other side.

The noise is deafening at motorway speeds even with ear plugs in, and afterwards my ears were ringing.

Took straight back to the Bristol shop after wearing it the once, they refused a refund.

Unfortunately I will need to buy a different helmet from somewhere else, as this one is unusable for me due to the shrieking/howling.

Look online and you'll see other people with this problem. Not everyone gets it, it might depend on the bike too.

But my advice is to avoid this helmet, or you might end up with a £450 useless ornament for your garage.
