HJC i91 - Plain Black

Good fit and features and great value.

Stylish and easy to use. Great sun visor.

I already own a HJC i91 helmet, that needed a new visor and pinlock. The price for this color was so good I decided to buy another helmet instead. For the price this is a brilliant helmet. This seems to be my go to helmet, even though I own better helmets. The flip up front is great, and the ability to fit a cardo intercom (that fits pretty much flush to the side) makes this helmet so good. It's comfy when riding for 6 hours+. The negatives are wind noise, and it looks slightly large next to my more expensive helmets. It's definitely a good helmet though, especially at this price point. I own 2, and would probably buy another.

Priority #1 for ME was being able to comfortably wear my glasses with the helmet on, which the i91 is great for, particularly with the lift-up chin.
Other features like the strap release, included pinlock & additional tinted visor are great.
It is quite a heavy helmet, and it's a shame it has a custom intercom set up rather than standard
Would buy again though.

I treated myself to this helmet due to its gorgeous colours, its the same make as my original helmet so no worries on safety, and fits perfect. Off out over the hills & far away I hit gravel on an island. One broken leg. But my head is intact - thanks to this helmet!

Lovely fit, good guality, nice touch to have the speaker recesses makes a good fit over the ears. Internal dark visor operating mechanism is an improvement over the previous model, and although this has been mentioned in other reviews, the main visor ratchet mechanism feels flimsy and not positive enough, hope it can hold the visor in the position when open.

More comfortable than the older version (which is comfy), vents are easy to use. It’s light, love the built in visor

Brilliant helmet. Fantastic bright tangareen orange, a colour that can be seen by other road users. Fits like a glove. Having the ability to flip the front section is lovely when stopping to chat or enjoy the surroundings without needing to keep removing the helmet. I would definitely buy one again.

This helmet is a good fit, comfortable with good visibility. It was also easy to fit the HJC intercom system.

As a flip helmet this offers the freedom to use as an open face on short journeys and helps without having to remove if you pull into fuel station providing full visibility
