Merlin Borderlands D3O Laminated Jacket - Moss

Looks really subtle, not over branded like the rest of them, good pockets with super strong Velcro, air vents work well but yet to test in the summer heat, went out in a downpour the other day and came back bone dry! kudos to merlin, as usual.

I couldn't find any user reviews of this jacket when I ordered but considering I couldn't find a bad review of any other Merlin jacket, I thought it was a pretty safe bet. Sure enough the jacket is everything I hoped for. Comfortable, warm, tough and you don't look like a power ranger. Would be nice if it came with back armour but it's a good price for a laminated jacket. Only thing I'd change would be to flip the pocket velcro covers so they face backwards as they're a bit of a fiddle to open. Great adjustability throughout the jacket.

I wanted somthing a bit different from the normal black stuff but needed a laminated jacket for winter touring and green laning. Tried on lots of kit but then noticed this. Fitted like a glove, nice cut and plenty of quality waterproof pockets. Used it loads and very comfortable incredibly well made.
