You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
The helmet feels light but solid, and the fit is snug without being tight. The magnetic quick-release visor system is one of my favourite features; it makes switching visors super fast and hassle-free. Ventilation is strong, keeping things cool even on warmer rides, and the internal sun visor drops down smoothly without pressing on my nose like others I’ve tried.
The liner is comfortable, breathable, and easy to adjust. I also like how wide the field of vision is, and the included Pinlock does a solid job preventing fog.
If I had to point out one downside, it’s that wind noise at higher speeds is a bit more noticeable than on some bulkier touring helmets. Not a deal-breaker for me, but something to keep in mind.
Overall, really happy with the Nolan X‑903. It strikes a good balance between comfort, features, and protection.
After 30 years of wearing Arai's I wanted a drop down visor. I've always found other helmets didn't have the plush, quality feel and fit of an Arai when you put them on your head. The Nolan runs is pretty much there. Can't fault it so far and the drop down visor is a gamechanger after years of using sunglasses.
