Reviews The new sporty road helmet from HJC has a tough act to follow, but the RPHA-12 is a decent sequel...
Customers praised the HJC helmets, highlighting their comfort, quietness, and snug fit. They commend the robust build quality, effective ventilation, and excellent field of vision. Many appreciate the value for money offered by HJC in comparison to pricier brands like Shoei and AGV. Some noted it was slightly noisy, but adjustable ventilation helps with airflow. The included tinted visor is a major plus, and various aesthetic designs enhance appeal, with many recommending the helmet for its overall quality and style.
Love this helmet, really comfortable, light weight, quiet and the design looks even better in person, half matte and half gloss finish, really stands out! For me, fits true to size, the visor is really easy to change around too, I fitted the light smoke visor put the box. Quality visor on the helmet too, nice and thick and came with the 120XT version of pinlock. Overall very impressed, only downside for me is the visor release when in the clicked down position, you have to press a release button then lift the visor open, which when riding took a few attempts to get used to
Great lid updated from RPHA11
Great service from SBS as always
Buying the right helmet is not just about the quality of the helmet. It is equally important to have the correct advice and support and in this respect the Glasgow store are exceptional. They will make sure you don't make a mistake. Wonderful service.
This is my third HJC helmet and they just keep getting better. Extremely comfortable.
One of the comfiest helmets I’ve owned. Wind noise is a bit on the noisy side but not as bad as others I’ve had. Looks the business imo.
Love my new helmet had to buy a darker visor but come with a light smoke and clear one it’s a very high quality helmet for the price. And matches my v4s
Really good helmet, fits perfect, great price.
I always use HJC as I find them to be the most comfortable of all the manufacturers. This one is no different and has a fantastic field of vision. Quality helmet at an affordable price, quality, quiet and a stunning paint scheme. If you need a new helmet, get one, you'll be delighted with it.
Fitted beautifully and is very comfy, was able to fit my comms in there and have no issues
Brought has a replacement for a pervious HJC helmet. Had about 20% off at the time of purchase and came with two visors (one tinted). Quick delivery and well protected
Love the style of this, one of my favourite characters! But the best thing is the comfort, its like putting a cushion on your head HJC have this spot on, I have a small and odd shaped head so finding a helmet has been hard from AGV to shark but constant pressure on my head leading to headaches after a short time riding so hats off to you HJC comfort 110%
The picture with four helmets are the hard work of my partner having to put 4 cardo systems in !!
Moved to this from the RPHA-11 and impressed with the new design! Much better quality and so far a good helmet.
Fit is slightly bigger than the 11 so had to size down.
Really good quality went from a more budget helmet to this and it's fantastic. Very lightweight and a better shell size for my head. Feels very well built and the additional tinted visor is a great touch.
Need to see more helmet paint jobs like this. Love the Matt finish but the tongue is gloss, very cool
First HJC helmet I have purchased, usually gone with more expensive brands like Shoei and Arai but thought maybe give this one a try The HJC RPHA12 Brels, from a price point it's a bargain, quality fit and finish are excellent with pleasing aesthetic design elements, included with this helmet is a pinlock and a free light tint visor, to conclude a great all round helmet for any kind of riding, with first class delivery service from SBS.
I was just about to buy the previous version of this toothless helmet and had been saving up for months, only to find out it was discontinued. I literally made a video on Instagram begging on my knees for HJC to make one with their rpha 12 model (they kinda goaded me into it). Well you bet that as soon as this dropped I bought one and I couldn't be more pleased, haven't worn it on the bike yet but the couple of hours I've had it on my head have been very comfortable, I've got a weird head and my previous brand of choice (Nolan) makes my glasses dig into my head and cause some pretty deep dents, this helmet doesn't do that.
It has cutouts for a cardo but it comes with foam inserts if you don't use one and includes a clear and smoked visor, unfortunately no drop down sunnies which is a shame for a helmet that costs nearly £600!
Not a fan of D-ring buckles as they are a pain if you make the rookie mistake of putting your gloves on before fastening the helmet but I was willing to make this sacrifice purely for the design.
It feels very lightweight so perfect for longer rides but unfortunately I cannot comment on wind noise just yet.
This helmet is Havoc Rider approved!!
Premium helmet and outstanding value. Feels like a hug for my brain. Also lovely new helmet smell.
This is my 2nd HJC RPHA 12 helmet. The first one didn't need replacing, still a great helmet after lots of daily riding, but when I saw the new Kepina design, I couldn't resist. Great helmets if your head shape is round.
