Held Polar 3 Waterproof Gloves - Black

The sizing was spot on. As expected for a thermal glove they are thicker than normal but not restrictive like some gloves. The finger length is also perfect without excess material affecting switch "feel". I commute 140 miles a day all year and these gloves provide the comfort i need during the colder months. 10/10

I was quite specific when looking for winter gloves - warm and waterproof, obviously, but not too bulky, not too long or wide at the wrist so my jacket sleeves could fasten over the gloves and a visor wipe was a must. These ticked all my boxes.
When they arrived (super quick, as always!) and I tried them on, my first reaction was, 'No, too tight, they'll have to go back'. But I kept trying them on and they do ease off quite a bit. On the Held size chart I measure below the top end of a size L so an XL would have have been too big.
I eventually tried them out on the bike and they were fine for a few hours at 5-6C. I don't have heated grips or any wind protection on the bars. Really pleased with the comfort and quality. They're easy to get on and off and get snug at the wrists. The visor wipe works really well too and I like the soft knuckle protectors. So overall I'm very impressed with these and glad I didn't return them.
