Advice & Guides If you don't ride in the cold all the time then spending a lot on winter gloves makes little sense. These budget options will help for occasional chilly rides

Customers generally appreciate these gloves for their warmth and comfort in cold conditions, often noting their effectiveness in keeping hands dry during lighter showers. Although some customers experienced issues with waterproofing in prolonged rain, many found them to be a worthwhile investment for winter riding. A few noted some difficulty in fitting initially due to padding, but this often improved with use. A common sentiment is that these gloves offer good value and quality, with several recommending them despite minor flaws.
Have had this style for over 5 years and wore them out so went looking for exactly the same make and style. What a fantastic turn up for the books when Richa have not messed around with the style and so quickly snapped these up.
Must give a shout out to the Bristol store staff who are so helpful and to sportsbikeshop for getting it right by allowing you to order online then try on in store
Keep up the great work
I managed to get these just in time for a 6 hour round trip a few weeks ago and some not so lovely autumn rain. Guys in the new Birmingham store where on hand to give me some valuable advice on the right choice to suit my needs....perfect product and at a great price. Cheers
Bought these as my winter gloves when i started riding. For the price they are brilliant. Upgraded recently to some gore-tex ones but cannot bring myself to get rid of these incase i need them again.. well worth the price for first winter gloves. Thick but get used to it
Better than my old gloves but they weren't proper winter gloves. Reasonable warmth, cuff a little narrow. Seems wellade but time will tell. Not worn in rain yet so don't know how they will fare.
For about £50 this is a great glove, it's comfortable for long rides, a good fit, and allows dexterity still when fitted. They do waterlog in extended downpours and take an age to dry but other than that they're a fine choice. I recently tried the Arctic and found, for double the price, minimal improvement over the carbon so would recommend a couple of sets of these for the same money.
Very comfortable and good finger fits. Some gloves that fit my palms/knuckles have stupidly long fingers like alien hands. These have good finger length. Like these on mild winter days. Quite thick feeling gloves but still allow full feeling of controls. I wear these for warmth not used in anything more than light rain showers where they did stay dry.
Not amazing, but they do the trick in very cold weather. Little sceptical about the crash protection they offer though
These gloves lasted me a couple of years. They were great, very warm and totally dry.
The waterproofing has gone now, sadly.
These are pretty decent for the money. I find anything less than temps of 3 degrees and you have had enough riding after about an hour and an half with these gloves. I don't have heated grips. Good fit. Tried liners to see if any improvement but there wasn't any.
Your fingers still get cold as the knuckle parts are quite thin.
It's difficult to use your switch gear with these too
Just started falling apart after years of use, excellent value, comfy, and warm
Used for the last couple of weeks. No complaints at all. Warm and dry hands at an excellent price.
These gloves are marvellous of it is very cold. I was wearing them yesterday in 2 degree weather on a 30 minute ride,b and when I took them off my hands were slightly sweating. And I don't use heated grips! Not sure if perhaps I needed a size up though.
I have always struggled to get winter gloves to fit my large hands. I bought the xxl version, they fit perfectly and are extremely warm. No more stopping riding in the cold weather.
My recent purchase arrived but had been opened by someoneand my new gloves remived/stolen, Royal Mail sent information with the delivery.
I contacted SportsBikeShop and also emailed them, within 30 minutes I had a reply and they informed me that they would send a new pair of gloves out to me next day by courier at no charge.
I would give 10 out of 10 to them if I could.
Oh, and the gloves are the best winter gloves I have purchased, so warm and waterproof, used them on a long wet journey last week.
Great team of people.

I bought these gloves around 5 years ago and they have been great, and only recently have a little hole in the finger because I use them for off road too. They've pulled through in the worst storms and kept me dry. I have Raynaud's in my fingers but these keep my hands warm too.
The Richa Carbon Winter are durable weatherproof gloves. Aramid fibre reinforced fingers enhance the practicality whilst not compromising on styling. Reinforced palm, suede visor wiper and comfort thermal lining enhance this gloves versatility.
