Merlin Hydroshield Waterproof Over Jacket - Black

Jacket worked well at both giving protection from rain and also from wind chill, when wearing a mesh jacket below. It fits well over a mesh jacket, which had additional back armour fitted, and allowed me to use the mesh jacket - along with the Merlin Jacket - at temperatures where the mesh jacket alone would have become uncomfortably cold.

This jacket really is fantastic. Used as part of my layering system, base layer, fleece, Oxford Atmos Windstopper, Klim Marrakesh jacket. I can swap in and out elements according to the conditions. This jacket packs up small, is stretchy and very waterproof. Several wet days in the Picos this month and I was bone dry in some serious downpours on high passes. Absolutely recommended.

Really nice over jacket, fits perfect over leathers, nice drawstring round the neck too.

Vital for year round riding in the UK, as the Scots company rolled off Merlin stepped in to fill the gap. These jackets are lightweight, packable, and bulletin proof in the hardest rain.
