Halvarssons Arvika Textile Jacket - Dark Grey

I'm very pleased with this jacket. It's airbag ready so I can wear my airbag vest underneath.
The mesh panels provide a lot of airflow. There aren't any internal pockets but it has 2 external hip pockets and a very useful chest pocket.
The only negatives relate to the sleeves. There isn't any volume adjustment on the cuffs nor the arms.

After sweating in my normal textiles during exceptionally hot weather, which is becoming more regular in the UK, I decided that I needed to re-evaluate my summer biking clothing. Using Sportsbikeshops website and their try or buy option, over several weeks and visits to the store, I ordered/reserved several different manufacturers mesh jackets some of which I then rejected for several reasons - the sleeve length of some was to short, the attachment to trousers was to fiddly for others and some just didn't feel right when put on. Eventually, I tried the Halvarssons Arvika jacket and knew as soon as I put it on it was the one for me - the fit was perfect (especially the sleeve length), it included level 2 armour at the shoulders and elbows and the garment is CE AA rated. PLUS Halvarssons also manufacture a belt attachment which allows the jacket, which has a 360degree attachment zip to fasten to any trousers with a removable belt (eg armoured jeans), Really happy with this.

Love this jacket - cool on a hot day and I didn't get cold when it turned cool in the evening. The motolegend back armour with the velcro fits...
