Givi BF88 Tanklock Fitting Kit - Yamaha Tracer 7 / Tracer 7GT (20-24)

The standard GIVI tank bag that is to fit the Yamaha Tracer7 and Tracer7 GT ,2020-2024 models, has some concerns when using the first-generation single ringed tanklock; the bags have a slight tendency to catch the bar and controls at any full lock. That is, until the BF88 tanklock fitting kit arrived.

The BF88 simply has the same attributes to the single-ring tanklock that securely fits into the bike's petrol cap fitting except the BF88 has an extended ring that then connects the said tankbag to the bike's petrol tank via this new figure-of-eight double-ringed lock. Manoeuvring the bag further back, and away from, and contact, with the bike's bar and controls. Making full-lock movement safer and contact non-existent, albeit with the 15 litre tank-bag which I have opted to use; less space, less unnecessary clutter.

This piece of kit comes with all the necessary fittings and fixtures to, easily, secure and connect to the tank and does not look unsightly nor is it obstructive in any form; the bikes aesthetics are not affected whatsoever, and, too, the BF88 is the same colour as the Tracer7 and Tracer7 GT original tank, matching both tank and BF88 beautifully.

With the bag now securely fitted to the extended ring, opening the petrol cap is, also, non-intrusive and, depending on rider physical attributes, you can adjust said bag forward or backward with the bags base fitting to assist comfort and confidence. To conclude, the BF88 is a revolutionary, and very necessary, piece of kit, the safety and impracticality of the single ringed tanklock has now been both modified and adjusted to highlight the fact that on full-lock you know there will no longer be a concern of bag, bar and controls making contact: a very useful and extremely practical motorcycle bag fitting kit that works wonderfully, and safely.
