I purchased a Shark helmet in White, but unfortunately with the hot weather, a week later the helmet was too tight. Sportsbikeshop happily accepted the return and unfortunately with no White helmets in large size available, I went for the black one instead. Excellent fit and definitely value for money given the quality of the materials used in manufacturing. As always, Sportsbikeshop was the best price comparison.

This is my first Shark helmet, so I wasn't sure what to expect, though I know one road racer who has worn them for years, so I knew they weren't rubbish.
When I first tried it on, I thought I had ordered the wrong size, it felt very tight, but once I got the chin curtain over my chin, the helmet somehow fitted me perfectly though it still seemed a bit tight, until I realised that's how a helmet is supposed to fit, my 4 year old helmet lining had relaxed that much, it was actually loose.
Great visor, nice free pinlock and lining is seriously plush.
Lovely helmet, highly recommended!

I understand that a motorcycle helmet fit is different for every person, but my review is for what suits me and the quality of this product. I find the quality of the liner, pinlock and the overall finish of the Shark Sparton RS to be of high quality, if one takes into account the price of the helmet. Sportsbikeshop as always generally have the best price available, and if for any reason you can find it cheaper, then Sportsbikeshop are always willing to meet that price. Great helmet at a good price.

Excellent built quality, providing you plenty of comfort and safety, yet hitting that sweet spot when it comes to cost of purchasing it.
Easy to strip it down from padding for cleaning or installing an intercom system as it comes with 40mm pre-manufactured holes, making it compatible with all, or at least systems.
The antifog visor included is a great touch and cannot be happier!

Always check for size and make sure it fits your head correctly and safely, not like the images below.

Affordable Arai alternative

My Chaser X had hit its 5 year anniversary so time for a new lid. Having previously only had Arai for quality and fitment I was dubious about other brands but current budgets dictated otherwise.
Having previously tried on pretty much every helmet brand over the years this Shark Spartan RS is a breakthrough. The quality feels like it’s premium cousins but with a reduced price tag. The visor mechanism is solid and reassuring as are the vent catches. The interior is plush in all the right places and feels comfortable in the colder conditions we’ve had recently. Also stayed completely dry in the monsoon I rode through last week. I had read wind noise an issue for other riders but for me on my 790 duke its actually reduced the noise compared with my arai. Very pleased with my purchase and in this colour way Black and Orange (red) its an absolute bargain.

Bought as a track day helmet so wanted the mix of bang for buck without compromising coupled with peripheral vision and tint option built in, this ticked all boxes and in fact was closely matched to what I’d describe as the best helmets out there,
