Great stylish Gore-Tex jeans
10 December 2023 by Rudy V
So impressed with these trousers. They meet all my requirements from a top brand at a great price, almost half the competition. Not tested in the wet but I feel confident they will do the job and I'll stay dry. They are not laminated so I expect the water to be partially absorbed rather than run off but better breathability (if there is such a word) than laminated. Thermal liners feel good, warm and simple to remove. No air vents but the knees zip open to put the knee protectors in so double as a vent. No hip protectors and can't be added but the knee protectors are full length to cover the shins. Overall a very good product

Fantastic upgrade
09 November 2023 by Gavin
Bought these to replace some aging Oxford jeans. Always wary of claims of being waterproof but these have hit the ground running, riding in downpours from the off and keeping me both dry and warm. Went for a medium which is probably slightly too small as they are quite tight across the thighs but I can't fault the build and quality. And a great price too. As always great delivery from SBS.

Quality pants
04 October 2023 by Ged B
These pants fit me perfectly, are supremely comfortable, warm and dry. So, exactly what they are supposed to do.
The quality is excellent, and I've found that if Goretex keeps the rain out on the first very wet ride, it'll last fifteen years. The armour is bulky but very protective down the whole shin.

Good Looking and Do The Job
03 September 2023 by Barry R
Plain black, nothing flash but good fit and they look good on and off the bike. The textile material looks good and wipes clean really easily
Waist size and leg size are exactly the same as I would look for in an ordinary pair of jeans. They are a fairly slim fit though and may be a squeeze if you are on the 'muscular' side.
Used in three downpours so far one on a 6 hour ride and I stayed dry through all of them. Knee armour is comfortable and also protects shins, which is good, but there is no hip protection.
Not used the thermal liner in anger yet but it is like the one in my 25 year old Dainese leather jacket and that has always kept me warm. Talking of which these trousers will zip to my ancient jacket as well, not sure why, or when, I would but how about that !
Bought these in a hurry. Service from SBS was, as always, exemplary - they were exactly as described and with me within 24hours.
Thank you

Galveston Gore Tex
11 August 2023 by Mervyn L
Early days, but Impressed with these. I'm 5'6" and 32/34 waist and these are a great fit - looked tailored on me.

Had other Dainese gore-tex kit and these seem very waterproof (time will tell) and importantly not sweaty.

Well made and properly armoured.

Water and crash proof
29 June 2023 by Gareth
Second pair of these after my original pair were cut off me after a major accident. These trousers definitely minimised my injuries.

Stayed waterproof for a wet 3 days in Scotland, but there was some seepage around crotch after long days.

Great Textile Jeans
02 May 2023 by Anonymous
These trousers are great for chilly weather because of the thermal lining. The knee protectors are big, covering the entire knee area which gives me confidence if I do end up falling over. Since these trousers are water resistant, I can wear them on days with light drizzle or rain and be confident that I can stay dry. It's because of these factors are why I will choose to wear these trousers in the Autumn and Winter months.

The only downside to these trousers, is that the front button doesn't lock in place properly and they tend to pop out when you lean forward (no, I don't have a beer belly!).

Overall these trousers would be 4/5 if it wasn't for the button problem.

Excellent

As a motorcycle instructor i use everyday for work , they are really waterproof , comfortable and warm . This is my 2nd pair i have bought as they are so good, they do get more use than your average biker .
The only thing that would be good to alter is the press on popper or add a secure clip behind it so that when you sit down or bend down it doesn't pop open , or maybe i should just lose a few pounds :)

Good quality and fit
07 November 2021 by Anonymous
Wasnt sure about these trousers given quality and size issues with other manufacturers and suppliers. Took the chance and ordered, with them arriving next day. First impression was good, once i put them on my expectations were met. Great fit and look. Been wearing them everyday since, kept me warm and dry in heavy rain. Good purchase. Thanks to Sportsbikeshop for great service and delivery.

Not The Most Comfortable
03 July 2021 by Glenn
I like Dainese products but I think that these textile jeans fall slightly off the mark. I can compare them to the Oxford Mondial trousers that I have & they out perform these Dainese trousers both in terms of fit & comfort. I am 'aware' of the knee pads constantly which makes them a bit uncomfortable. There is no venting in the thighs so on a hot day they can become too warm. The press stud fastener at the waist failed the first time that I put them on. The sizing is slightly on the small side so I would recommend going up one size from your usual fitting. Not tried in the rain yet but as they are Gore-Tex I'd imagine that they are up to the job.

So comfortable
13 December 2020 by Andy H
Sizing true to the guide, tried on and felt so comfortable, could ride for hours with these on.
Not yet tried in anger in the wet conditions so can't comment on their ability in the rain, but first impressions are really good and I'm very happy with them.

Great service and really well made and warm trouse
11 April 2020 by Dominic M
As usual with Dainese, the quality of the garment is of very high standard.

The trousers are warm and dont buffer in the wind when riding. I wore them for a ride in 3c and they were very warm. The removable thermal inserts allow you to remove when the temp increases.

Top product and great service as usual from Sportbikeshop!

Well worth it!
22 November 2019 by Neil D
Excellent top quality trousers, I live in the Lake District so nice, cold and wet to test the trousers. Sizing for me was spot on.
Worn in rain-bone dry. Worn in very cold weather-toasty warm. No sweaty legs when worn, and keeps your legs regulated nicely, not too hot, but just right thanks to the Gore-tex.
Easy to get on and off, simple zips at bottom, could maybe do with a press stud or velcro fastener to secure around boot a little better. Same with the waist, could do with extra securing or braces maybe.
Tried other cheaper brands but they say you get what you pay for. I've used RST, Richa, Oxford and others but I will now use Dainese as my go to brand. Very pleased.

Not What I Wanted to Write.
14 November 2019 by Anonymous
These jeans are very warm, I rode in temps around 7 degrees with these without base layers and wasn't cold. The thermal layer is very good and removable. Other reviews state that they were hard to get over boots, I'd say they're SLIGHTLY inconvenient but not hard at all.
Protection-wise these jeans done me a solid, I only had these for 2 weeks and managed to low-side on a diesel spill at a roundabout, not damage to my knees however I was going at a low speed.

The reason I gave a 4/5 is because there are no hip pads for these jeans, that would have made these top tier!

Good product
27 October 2019 by Anonymous
Does as it says. Main reason for buying is the knee and shin protection. Was a must after my last accident when I damaged and cut all my shin. Family requested next pair to have it.
Comfortable fit, better fit than my old trousers around the hip and groin allows for more flexibility. I have slightly little legs so have to move the protection when standing but when on the bike it is in the correct place.
