Customer Reviews for Dainese Galvestone D2 Gore-Tex Jeans - Black
Great service and really well made and warm trouse
As usual with Dainese, the quality of the garment is of very high standard. The trousers are warm and dont buffer in the wind when riding. I wore them for a ride in 3c and they were very warm. The removable thermal inserts allow you to remove when the temp increases. Top product and great service as usual from Sportbikeshop!Read more
Well worth it!
Excellent top quality trousers, I live in the Lake District so nice, cold and wet to test the trousers. Sizing for me was spot on. Worn in rain-bone dry. Worn in very cold weather-toasty warm. No sweaty legs when worn, and keeps your legs regulated nicely, not too hot, but just right thanks to the Gore-tex. Easy to get on and off, simple zips at bottom, could maybe do with a press stud or velcro fastener to secure around boot a little better. Same with the waist, could do with extra securing or braces maybe. Tried other cheaper brands but they say you get what you pay for. I've used RST, Richa, Oxford and others but I will now use Dainese as my go to brand. Very pleased.Read more
Not What I Wanted to Write.
These jeans are very warm, I rode in temps around 7 degrees with these without base layers and wasn't cold. The thermal layer is very good and removable. Other reviews state that they were hard to get over boots, I'd say they're SLIGHTLY inconvenient but not hard at all. Protection-wise these jeans done me a solid, I only had these for 2 weeks and managed to low-side on a diesel spill at a roundabout, not damage to my knees however I was going at a low speed. The reason I gave a 4/5 is because there are no hip pads for these jeans, that would have made these top tier!Read more
Does as it says. Main reason for buying is the knee and shin protection. Was a must after my last accident when I damaged and cut all my shin. Family requested next pair to have it. Comfortable fit, better fit than my old trousers around the hip and groin allows for more flexibility. I have slightly little legs so have to move the protection when standing but when on the bike it is in the correct place.Read more
Good fit and very waterproof
Keeps me dry in sunny Scotland and really good fitRead more
Fashion over Function
Great trouser but the thermal lining is too short, as soon as you put your feet up onto the foot pegs the inner lining rides up over your boot and you get a draft. I have fitted an old lining in from an old pair that's longer. .Read more
Great quality pair of trousers and fitted well. The knee/shin armour is the best I've seen but I ended up returning them because the leg armour didn't really work with my Sidi couriers and needed to be worn inside which isn't great in the rain! Probably ideal with a short boot or one without shin protection.Read more

Great comfortable trousers
Great comfortable trousers. Nice fit and nice knee and shin protection. Would like to have option to fit hip protection. My only fault. Great service from Sportsbikeshop.Read more
A complete bargain
Size guide spot on for me. Great quality, solid and secure feeling knee/shin armour sits in perfect place. Zip securely to Carve Master 2 jacket although zip was slightly stiff to begin with. But for a Goretex jean from a top brand they are just brilliant value - when i bought they were a clear £80 or so cheaper than any other Goretex pants available. Why wouldn't you buy them?!?Read more

In 1972 Mr Lino Dainese made some leather motocross trousers, starting a biking brand that has since brought style and innovation to motorcyclists the world over. Working with some of the most evocative names in motorcycle racing, Dainese led the way in the development of leather stretch panels, knee sliders and race suits- cut to suit the rider in a real world riding position. The 80's brought back protectors (with Barry Sheene), composite armour, and more aerodynamic suits; whilst the 90's brought gloves with knuckle armour and the first biking airbag system. Dainese remains at the forefront of motorcycle clothing technology and continues to be the brand of choice for the biggest names in bike racing, all the way up to the greatest rider of all time, Valentino Rossi. Today, Dainese is one of the most recognisable, coolest, and most aspirational motorcycle brands on the planet. With a well deserved reputation for safety that has crossed over into nearly every extreme sport there is, the name Dainese is synonymous with style, protection, comfort and durability.See all Dainese products…
