I purchased this top alongside the matching trousers, and I'm blown away by how good this set is. The top is quite thick, has a zipper on the side of the neck to zip up the collar, and definitely blocks any wind. It's super comfortable and feels nice against the skin. If you're looking for an extra warm layer to wear under your Gore-Tex gear, look no further.

Faced with picking my new bike up at the end of a very cold and wet January, followed by a 140 mile ride home, my summer gear needed some help. The team in Preston reccomended this and despite being a tight fit to start with, its now really snug a d light enough to be used under my leathers, the zip collar is great for keeping my neck warm. Good quality and an investment that avoided me buying a new winter jacket

Wish I’d got this years ago!! Great windproof top, went true to size (XL) and fits like a midlayer, so if needed can fit a skintight base layer underneath for very cold days on the bike. Know a few others who only wear this under their jackets and are comfortable at anything down to 5°. Inside is brushed fleece which is super warm and comfy. High neckline so no unwanted drafts, zip takes a bit of getting used to but handy the pull tab isn’t where a jacket zip is, so no fumbling trying to find the right zip with gloves on. Brought the vest option too for those warmer but chilly spring/autumn rides. Great kit from RST!

Sizing is okay, I would try in store, if you’re at the top end of large consider an XL

It fits tight but windproofing really needs that. Im generally xl went for 2xl and fits well. So tried in January in Scotland over several windy and cold days and it's an absolute game changer. Thermal base, then this and lined textile jacket on top warm for 3 hours riding it really does block out all wind. First time I used it it was rough around the neck as it comes up high. Everytime I turned my head it scraped away at my neck. Next few times I put a buff on and it was sorted. This is a great value item and really does work in keeping the winter wind off. Also have used it off the bike

Tried this for a couple of winter rides about 4celsius. Found it worked well particularly below 50mph, travelling much quicker than that for any prolonged time and the cold soon creeps in.

Love the style , offset zip is a nice touch, no leakage of cold air from front of Jacket / leathers. Thicker than all my other thermals and has something akin to a microfleece interior which as does a great job of trapping body heat. Size was consistant with my usual fit... Top piece of kit and I consider great value for money

Saw this in the men’s part and being a woman was a little jealous but decided to get it as the weather is getting colder, I wasn’t disappointed I was shocked at what a difference this made to blocking the windchill while riding! I would 100% recommend this item to all riders you won’t regret it.
