Merlin Croxton Mixed Gloves - Brown / Olive

These gloves were on sale and I needed a pair for the Winter, so gave these a go. They feel great, look good and keep your hands warm, but I had 1 major issue where the Outlast lining would come out of the fingers and it was super difficult to get the ring and pinky fingers back into the gloves. This happened at the test centre on my module 1 training day and I had to ride with my pinky finger only half way into the glove...not good at all. If you take extra care to ease the gloves off then this problem is less of an issue, but still not perfect. Note - I bought 2 pairs of these 1 black and 1 brown and both had the same issue unfortunately. I like Merlin gear but would think twice about buying these again.

Very comfortable and stylish. Well made with soft brown leather and what appears to be waxed cotton areas on the back and thumb. Soft padded knuckle guards. I usually wear an XL. These are XXL and fit me a treat. A nice feature is a padded leather patch on the wrist to cushion against an impact. They look like a quality glove. For what I paid I feel I have a bargain.

I was hoping they would be better quality. They feel more like a ski glove. Far too warm for summer use and make your hands sweaty causing the inside fleas to bumfle up.
On the upside they fit well, are actually waterproof and I will use them for long journeys especially as the weather cools
