DXR Hinckley Waterproof Leather Boots - Black

I just liked the looks of the boot .I ride sports bikes not choppers. Bought to go to the pub people have commented how nice they look . The ankle protection is taking some getting used to. The leather is quite stiff but now two weeks on everything is fine would recommend and buy again.

A good proper solid set of boots for biking. Will need breaking in but I think they will last well.

It's a good fit. Looks good. Protective. I'm still breaking it in, but so far so good. A bit hard on the inside.

Having always worn calf length boots, I found these ankle height boots to be a revelation. No more sweating on hot days, no more trying to cram jeans inside, and no more trudging around cafes in heavy gear.
The boots have good side zips, and the laces are good and sturdy. The zip pulls are held neatly in velcro straps. The sizes are accurate, the boots are very comfortable on and off the bike, and a great price too.

Excellent value boots, very well made. I wanted boots with a good grip for when I put feet down. The side zip helps greatly in getting them on and off. Very pleased with them

Great boots that are nice and subtle. Took a little wearing in but fine after a day.
Service was excellent as always.

wife purchased these and is very pleased with the comfort , easy to put on with the zip and good to walk around in not sure if they are sports bike shops own make ? haven't had to test how waterproof they are yet but pleased with them

Really stylish and are well made giving lots of confidence that they will protect you pinkies and ankles should they be tested (not planning to any time soon!!) Have taken a bit of breaking in - which I guess is a good sign too, but not quite as comfortable as I had hoped - but still not bad. Foam disc in lining over ankle bone on the outside is good if a little obtrusive, but the one on the inside is misaligned for me but is okay. Could be a bit more comfortable and hopefully will be properly all day comfortable when fully broken in. And not obviously bike boots so, they don't look out of place when worn around town with jeans.

First time out and it rained heavily. I definitely felt a bit of rain come in through the laces area, but being new I couldn't do them up really tight as they were stiff. Also at the back, not being high the rain trousers road up, which isn't the fault of the boot but worth bearing in mind. Overall they seem a really solid well built product that were all day comfortable from the off. The laces area does have a gusset, but the zip at the side doesn't. However this area didn't leak.

These are very comfortable on and off the bike but in my opinion, unlike many reviews on here, I don't think they're in the slightest bit stylish. They're a lot wider than I expected them to be and as a result, look clumpy to me. Still, they appear to provide adequate protection and are well made, so in that respect - fit for purpose and good value for money .

Really first class, strong and stylish boots. Great with motorcycle jeans and can be worn off bike too as they just look like "ordinary" lace up boots. I'd never heard of the brand before but would definitely recommend.

Was surprised how heavy and sturdy they were in the flesh but this is obviously a plus for a riding boot. Did take me a week or so to get over the initial stiffness and for the leather to soften. I found the ankle protection does dig in a bit at first but this seems to be lessening the longer I wear the boots. Overall these are quality boots that look good on or off the bike.
