Bike boots that blend into everyday life are a very useful part of any kit wardrobe. Here are SBS customers’ picks…
Customers praise the boots for their durability, comfort, and quality construction. They note easy on-and-off features like side zips and commend the boots for being true to size. Although some found the boots stiff initially, they soon molded to their feet. Reports on waterproofing were mixed, with some experiencing wet feet. Reviews mention good grip, protection, and stylish looks both on and off the bike. Overall, highly recommended for their value and fit.
I bought these boots to replace my old worn out RST ones when I first put them on I wasn't sure if they were for me but after wearing them for only a handful of times I am now impressed with the fit and how quickly they have loosened up would definitely buy again I especially like the side zip which makes them quick to put on
I got wide feet and they fit a treat. Sturdy boot that can be worn off bike and waterproof to boot!

No discomfort even when new. A bit stiff to start but soon loosened off. Consider a size up because I'm normally comfortable in 43's but had to send the original pair back and exchange for 44's to ensure I had a bit more room for thicker socks. Excellent service and no quibble free return via DPD followed by quick refund.
Stylish and superbly comfy. Very well made. I’ve bought several pairs
I wear these daily and they are the most comfortable boots or shoe I can remember buying. I’ve worn some really expensive footwear in my day but these boots are tops. They are not waterproof, no where near even splash proof, but find a boot at this price that is ! Excellent boots don’t hesitate.
Looks good, fits perfectly. Have no issues at all with this purchase. Decent price for a really nice comfortable boot. Flexible sole which helps if you also walk around a lot when you do stop and get of the bike. Decent gripping sole. Very happy with these.
Only worn them a couple of times so far and the leather is starting to become more supple and comfortable now. Can’t comment on how water proof they are but so far so good in the dry weather.
Still breaking these in, so they're a bit squeaky at the moment.
Comfortable though & ideal for the warmer weather.
Supposedly waterproof, but haven't tested that yet & hopefully won't need to.
Good quality great price . Not as much ankle armour as hoped for but at this price point great value
Only had them a few days. Really comfy. Nice wide fitting with great support. Look more expensive than they are.
Great service from sbs as always.
Very comfortable, great retro style. Perfect for me and my triumph scrambler
I currently ride a naked sport bike so wanted an urban style boot that offers support with some protection and that feels comfortable to walk around in. These boots tick all the boxes for me and feel like a quality product at a very reasonable price. Still early days but thus far, very happy that I bought these boots.
They seem to do the job so far, nice strong leather. A bit too stiff, but imagine will soften with age.
Size seems on spot as long as I wear thick socks, which I guess are a must anyway, for leather boots.
There is little padding around the ankles, I think they could use some.
Fantastic boot that fits true to size. I bought these as I wanted a boot with good protection and a toe cap for shifting. These fit the bill perfectly! They do take a few days to break in as you would expect from a leather boot. But great comfort and grip on the sole. Worn once in rain and they are not waterproof. Rain simply comes through at the side zip. So don’t buy if you’re after a waterproof boot. Otherwise top boot for summer.
I like these boots and wear them 2-3 days a week. The Zip/Velcro fastening on the side is probably unnecessary as you always have to loosen the laces even with them undone. I may have fat feet :-)
Well they look great but my god they are uncomfortable. In order to wear them I had to remove the hard plastic discs that protect the ankle. I used a scalpel and cut the inner lining and levered them out. I don't know who thought they were a clever idea, they're not! When I say rigid plastic I mean a round, thick hard disc. They will never bed in. Anyway now they are fine other than they squeak when you walk. So if you a deft with a scalpel go ahead and hit buy. Don't say I didn't warn you.
OK full disclosure, I haven't yet tested the waterproof qualities of these boots and it may be a while as I tend not to set off in rain these days, though I'm sure eventually I'll get caught out! (Edit: having now been in a couple of torrential downpours, I can confirm the boots to be 100% waterproof so far!)
Fit - Comfort is not an out of the box feature. As stated by others these are a rigid boot which require breaking in - especially if your feet, like mine, are not uniform. I planned to wear them in gradually to avoid the chance of blisters. (If they do not "give" as I expect them to, then I'll come back and revise the review.) Edit: Having worn the boots almost daily since buying them last September, they are now amongst my most comfortable footwear well up to long walks with the dogs.
Construction is great with all the stitching etc. to a high quality. I like the side zip which should make for an easier time putting on & off. Also like the gear pad on both sides. The laces are a tad on the light side for my taste, but that's easily resolved, particularly as for my broad feet, they come up a bit short; so I will likely get some darker brown longer laces instead. The soles are standard Vibram-type so should grip and last well. Time will tell, if any issues, then I'll report back. My only slight gripe with the soles after 9 months of use is the occasional lack of grip on slippery surfaces. A couple of times I ve had my footing slip when stopping on tarmac that has mossy patches so beware. It may be that DXR have sacrificed some grip for longevity of wear? All that said, an excellent boot for the money, I d buy them again.
