These are perfect for the job. The only downside is that the material sticks to velcro like s**t on bear fur which can make for comedy moments when gearing up.

I have no other boot knowledge to go from but these are a little stiff to start with but they protect you, are comfortable and are of good quality. I wouldnt be suprised if they are of equal quality to boots twice the price. Thick good quality leather, clips you can alter to get the right fit. They are ideal if your wanting a boot that fits under riding jeans but still protects your ankle and the front of your shin.

Both insoles fell apart after just one outing.

The right shoe was extremely tight and caused pain on my outer toes. The left shoe had a clear manufacturing defect, with a lump of excess material directly under my heel, making it very uncomfortable to wear.

After a single use, I was forced to buy replacement insoles. I even resorted to trimming the inside with nail clippers to remove the lump under my heel and attempted to reshape the right shoe internally to relieve the toe pressure, without success.

Good value for money, not had long but feel comfortable will be better once worn in.

Haven't worn them much in anger yet, but they are very comfortable to walk about in.

Best jacket I've bought and size is what I expected
