Love the fact you don’t have to use a key every time you open it! But of course still lockable.
Excellent finish. Expandable part is very quick and easy to do.

I’ve had sh46 and 47 before but the size quality and look of the top box materially outperform the other top boxes. Highly recommended.

Gets 2 helmets in easily. Spacious box and much needed upgrade.

Great product, don't confuse the included mounting plate with the required fitting kit which is sold separately. On the face of it this looks cheaper than the equivalent givi but once you realise the fitting kit is required too it gets a bit dearer. Very good looking product though, feels premium and the service from SBS Milton Keynes was remarkable as usual.

It’s mounting tray with bag of fixings worked with the non-Shad rack on my bike. Instruction leaflet in packaging would have been nice as QR code was in the top box which was a puzzle to open with no instructions! Easy once worked out.

Large amount of storage, fits two helmets easily and I have a rather large cranium. You need to buy the fitting bracket as it’s not supplied, took about 30 minutes in total to install.

Bought to go on ninja1000sx to add capacity, as the genuine side cases aren't big enough for an up coming camping trip. Looks and feels nice quality, the ability to expand is a great feature essentially 2 boxes in one. Time will tell how durable it is.

This topbox is excellent quality and the expanding feature is great. It can be reduced to a low hight profile when riding and expanded to full capacity which easily accommodates two size large full face helmets when parked up.
Knocked a point off because with the supplied base plate you cannot exactly centre the topbox on the plate and bike centre line. The way the fitting slots are arranged in the plate, the box is 1cm to the left or right of centre line which is annoying but not critical.

Very versatile top case more streamlined when in the lower position. Takes 2 full face helmets when fully extended. Reasonably light weight for its size.

I purchased the Shad 58 top case after seeing reviews on line quick to arrive and easy to fit. I like the way you can adjust the case from lower when empty or smaller bits then adjust to the middle to fit two full face helmets in and if you need more room it will adjust to top level and you can get more in great top case. We'll made too 5 stars

Box arrived very quickly and I was really impressed with it's functionality and ease of use. Capacity is great, and in its raised position easily fits two helmets, one L and one XL. This however is a word of caution to those, who like me, buy the back rest. The back rest comes in two parts, there are marked indentations on both the lid of the box and on the box itself, showing you where to drill in order to fit the pads. The top pad went on no issues at all, the back, lower pad however, was a different story. The drill points on the box had been marked in the wrong position, and were in fact a good 4mm out, which meant I was unable to secure the back pad. I was really annoyed by this, as I ended up having to measure, mark and redrill holes to get the pad to fit. This issue was obviously a manufacturing fault, so I would advise anyone getting this box, along with the back pad, not to take it for granted that the marked drill points on the box are in the correct position. Get the ruler out and measure it for yourself prior to drilling. If not for this issue the box would have been given 5 stars easily.
