Great item to convert from bmw rack to allow my Shad 58x to fit to my 2023 s1000xr. Instructions included are useless but as usual You Tube had the answer with a great video on there. The plate is well made and finished nicely.

Givi top box mounts for this bike (S1000XR 2020+) have a weight limit of 6 kg. Does this Shad Top Box Fitting Kit W0SX10ST have a similar limit (i.e. not the 10 kg expected)? Thanks.
February 14, 2023With Shad luggage, the maximum load applies to the top case itself, as opposed to the mounting system. For example, the max load of the SH26, SH29 and SH33 top cases is 3 kg, whilst the SH40 and SH40 CARGO is 4 kg; and the SH42, SH45 and SH46 cases is 6 kg.
