Comfortable & relatively waterproof

I've had the black for some time now & bought the camo as a back up but I love the look so much they're now my main. Really comfortable, including the knee armour. I probably could have gone a size down but I'm not getting any slimmer - the length was maybe too much, the hip armour seems a bit low down (need to check if adjustable).
Mostly waterproof (if you wash them, wait until dry then iron to re-waterproof), except the groin - not sure if it's my riding position (cruiser with mid-controls) but when it's lashing down, I've twice had a pool start in the groin area...lovely.
Quite warm for walking around (they're thicker than they look, what with the lining). Fine when riding though & will do for temperatures 8° and up. Need thermals below 8°.
Storage is brilliant - as well as usual combat trousers pockets, there's a handy zipper pocket on the left for house keys & lighter. So seven pockets in all - back and lower side with poppers.

Great Looking Trousers

Loved the look of these when on. Tempted to wear them when I'm not riding! Feel very substantial which was what I was looking for Bought a 34 waist and I'd say they were a fairly large 34. But VERY comfortable. Comfortable, look brilliant and AAA rated. Yes they're pricey, but I'd say worth the money. Again excellent customer service from Sally at SBS. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Will be shopping there again when I need the next thing!

This is my second purchase of a John Doe product. The quality is excellent. Worth the extra with peace of mind you have the best protection! Can t fault these jeans, great fit, very comfortable and stylish too! I have a John Doe leather jacket again excellent quality and fit. Sports bike delivered excellent customer service in allowing me to try two sizes so I make the best choice. Five stars for the service.

Really comfortable. Not too baggy like other riding trousers. Fit is tight and feels good sitting on the bike. Would recommend going down a size as I have to wear a belt after picking my actual size lol but still good

John doe never disappoints, for causal wear their is no better! proper AAA rated with kevlar liners, they come up big , so go down a size. Worn all summer, starting to show a little wear but otherwise perfect.

Bought my first pair of John Doe cargo jeans, I am certainly not disappointed! They're great! comfortable, heavy duty quality and fit really well, which I normally struggle with as I'm on the shorter side. I will be buying another set in the near future.

These were a plan B from my original John Doe choice and man am I glad. From the fitment advice from the team to the sooper fast delivery the care was slick and top notch.
The trousers are well worth the price tag, the fitment as stated and the quality and colour are stunning. I’ll be wearing these to work throughout autumn as they are super comfortable and light in comparison to other similar trousers I have.

Couldn't be happier with these. They fit great, and have plenty of pocket space. I normally take a 32 leg but ordered the long ones so they don't ride up. I still feel safer in leathers but these are good for when I don't want to be fully kitted up. I'm fairly slim, so don't know what they'd be like on someone bigger, but I'm really happy with them.

Comfortable and warm

Was unsure about cargo style bike trousers, however really glad I tried them, more comfortable than my riding jeans, great armour pockets and exactly in the right place, internally soft so can wear with or without an under layer, and have been warm in the recent sunny but cool spring days. Waist size is down one from my usual, otherwise a great fit. Unsure how they would cope in a spill, hope I never find out!
