Oxford Delta 1.0 Air Textile Jacket - Black / Grey / Fluo Yellow

Very good fit light weight cool for the heat of the summer, definitely one of the best jackets I've got.

I bought this jacket on sale for £75 - good quality and the mesh gives really good air flow - I rode over to TSBS wearing a riding shirt type jacket and felt very warm (temperature was 30° - I wore the mesh jacket back and there was a massive difference-just felt like a comfortable temperature.

Bought this jacket after the first heatwave this year. The airflow through this is fantastic, but it's still got the security of a AA rating. I already had an Oxford jacket, so went for the same size which fits as expected. I added the level 2 back protector which may block a little evaporation but good to have. Ventilation on the sleeves is detectable from above 20mph, the body gets good cooling from 30mph. I wore this today in 32°C temperature and it made riding bearable. Recommended.

I have a Richa air mesh jacket already but for reasons it's in storage at the other end of the country - so I needed a cheap but serviceable replacement for the recent heatwave as I had multiple longish trips I needed to do for work (over 120 miles per trip) in that heat. I think the Richa *may* have marginally better airflow but it's hard to say as the heatwave was pretty stifling! However, even if it does i'm not sure that's a plus, because it gets colder at night and then any additional airflow becomes something to overcome.
I'm 6'2" tall (188cm), weight 85 kg (roughly 13 stone) - so long and lean with (I think) around a 44-46inch chest- and the medium fits perfectly.

That's where this has the edge for me - it literally fits like a glove - which means the armour stays where it's supposed to. The pockets are big enough to be useful, not so big you'll overload them with stuff to break your ribs in a crash. The airfflow is great- better on the arms than the chest but it kept me as cool as could be expected in recent heatwaves.

The armour is pretty basic as you'd expect at this prices but I have ample d3o to move between jackets anyway. It will take shoulder, elbow and back armour, although teh back armour does make it sweaty in intense heat.

I only have one criticism of this jacket and to be fair, it's a criticism of the entire bike clothing industry. The only way to connect what is necessarily a short jacket to my trousers is via the short zip - which doesn't match the zip on my leathers (Bikers paradise brand), nor does it match my Held textile trousers (which are too warm for this heat anyway). So I can't connect it to anything. Including some loops to attach it to trousers would be a HUGE improvement. However - that's not a brand issue as such - it would be great if teh industry could agree a standard for such things but I won't hold my breath :)

TL:DR - Great jacket, great fit, good pockets, armour could be better, doesn't come with back armour, good airflow - only let down by not being able to connect it to trousers unless they have the oxford zip.

Excellent fit, initially a bit chilly in the early morning! As the temperature rose, so did my appreciation of the jacket.
Extremely well thought out product, best to use an thin underlay for early starts!

Bought this for a recent trip to Europe it’s a game changer in the heat slightly longer arms which is good because it covers your wrist and gloves. I am a large in a T - Shirt and I bought a XL which fits well and allows for an under layer, It has three pockets an inside pocket and two outside pockets.

Does exactly what's it's supposed to do. Lots of venting on the recent hot days. The quality seems as good as the more expensive brands and has decent adjusters.
2xl fits well for 48 chest because of only wearing a t-shirt underneath. A proper bargain at the reduced price of £70

Other reviews suggest you buy a size up because Oxford’s sizing runs small. I followed this advice and bought a Large (I’m a 40” chest and 6’1” tall). Had to send the Large back and swap it for a Medium because the Large was too baggy. Medium fits just right.
Still waiting for back protector to arrive …
Mesh pocket for back protector is pretty basic. If you are not planning to use a back protector you may need a safety pin to close up the pocket else you might stick your arm in it and possibly through it!

This jacket is an amazing summer jacket. Great ventilation, great price for AA rating. Very comfortable as well.

Bought this jacket from a recommendation, due to getting hot on rides. Certainly stopped that, the airflow is great, fitment is good and with straps to adjust it, it’s even better.
Only downside is it doesn’t come with back protection, but that’s minor to sort out.
Overall, a decent jacket which I’d recommend to anyone.
