For the price this jacket was great value. Allows you to keep cool when it’s hot, No back protector but just swap one around with my cooler weather Jacket.

I wore the jacket during the recent hot weather in the UK, including 2+ hours of motorway and urban riding, and didn't feel like a sweaty mess at the end of it. Service from SBS was the same rapid high quality as it's always been when I've ordered from them. Cheers guys!!

Exactly what I needed for the summer months. The fit is perfect, plenty of airflow and still has a bit of basic armour. The perfect summer jacket..

My first mesh jacket. Up to now I’ve managed with opening vents on my usual jacket (Oxford Montreal) but the temperatures we have seen lately were a step too far. Very impressed with just how cool and light it is. I won’t ride without an armoured jacket and the shoulder and elbow armour seem adequate. Pockets and zips seem of decent quality and quantity so I’m very happy with my purchase, and at a reasonable price from SBS.

Purchased this Oxford Spartan jacket for a recent trip to Europe. Temperatures were 22c up to 40c. The mesh jacket performed amazingly well keeping me as cool as was possible. I also added the optional level 2 back protector. Fit and finish are first class and absolutely great value at the price. There is adjustment on waist, arms and cuffs to make it fit like a glove. Sportsbikeshop were top grade as usual.

If you re starting your ride before the sun comes up I would suggest a thin thermal layer just to keep the chill off , as it s obviously designed for riding in the hot weather, but once the sun is up it will do exactly what it s designed to do ,

Be nice if it had belt loops aswell as the zip to join trousers

Brilliant summer jacket, it made all the difference riding it very hot weather... I stayed a lot cooler on my bike .. that made the ride a lot more enjoyable.

very happy with jacket

I'm 6'2" with long arms and about 106kg. It can be hard to know the sizing but the 3XL fits me very well. I tried on an alternative brand at a different shop and the 3XL sizing there was very small indeed.

Functionality of the Oxford Spartan it is great, very light and it breathes well. Pockets are big enough and the protection feels fine.

I chose SportsBike Shop as they are very fair about returns and delivery promptly.

Really pleased with this jacket. It's lightweight, really comfortable and flows plenty of air, which is perfect in the current weather. The armour feels good without being bulky, and the sizing was spot on for me, I'm normally a large and the large fitted perfectly. Considering the price, I think it offers excellent value for money. The only thing worth mentioning is that the logos on the jacket don't match the photos on the website, mine has the Oxford logo rather than the Spartan helmet shown. Not an issue for me, and I believe it's due to different manufacturing runs. Overall, it's a great jacket, and I'd definitely recommend it.
