Bought to use in Portugal as it was 35+. Kept me as cool as could be expected. It needs a back protector imo which is another £28. However for a sub £100 jacket it’s impressive.

I am 6ft 3 and 90kg and this fits me well (I have a size XL) There is enough room underneath for a fleece or something if required. The arms are quite long and the body a little shorter. (I have a long back). Since I purchased the jacket it’s rained pretty much non stop. Hoping to try it next week on the bike when weather forecast changes. If you hold the jacket up to the light you can see through it so no doubt lots of air should pass through and keep you cool.

I’m 6,6 and average build the jackets fit well and keeps you cool in hot Weather. My usual size jackets are XXL to make it fit better I went for XXXL. The XXL was too short in the body and arm area.
The protection feels ok. But on the thin side. It is a cheap jacket so you get what you pay for. Will I buy it again. In short Yes.

Great fit. Works well with over or under gloves. Long enough to stay down at the back. As for the air flow... WOW its perfect for those hot days. allowing very comprehensive cooling. Chuck a fleece underneath or a rainseal jacket over the top and it works very well in cooler temps too. Arrived in 24 hour and fits like a glove.

Fit: I m 189cm/90kg and the XL fits comfortably with the right sleeve length.
Quality: Better than expected for the price.
Minor Con: The inner pocket liner material is a little thin/flimsy.
Verdict: Would highly recommend and buy again!

I've not worn it on the bike yet, naught in the office season for a reduced price in preparation for next summer, I made the mistake of ordering the same size as my leather, but without the insulation and lining of the leather the Spartan air is a little baggy on me, but I'm ok with that as it will allow more air circulation, that for me is the whole point of it and i do sweat buckets in the summer, I'm looking forward to using it in place of the leather next summer, I'm very pleased with it.

The Oxford Spartan Air Textile has rounded off my summer riding perfectly! I have good seasonal riding gear but the one thing proved to be missing during the summers heatwaves was a light weight jacket. The Spartan fits the bill. Reading the reviews, one size up worked for me making it comfortable without being baggy. Plenty of length in the arms and the mesh around the jacket allows air to flow well on a hot day. It feels sturdy for a summer jacket but is light enough to wear off the bike too. It made the difference for me on this summers rides, 100% i would have another!

I bought this on the arse end of the hot weather we had,after reading reviews and so fourth, decided to buy it,honestly should have bought this along time ago.
It keeps you pretty cool which is great,the colour ,yeah it's OK but it goes well.ths pockets for me seem alittle further back then normal,bit weird to explain but tthen thay do the job,the sizing seems to be bigger then normal I got a medium and feels bigger so check the size,honestly for the price you really want grumble,as always spot on service from sportsbikeshop
