K&N Powersports Oil Filter - KN-153

I selected this filter as an alternative to the OE Ducati filter as it can be unscrewed easily using a standard spanner.

I cannot say whether it operates better than the OEM or other main brand filter but one thing for sure as lot easier to fit and remove than the others. No special tools required.

K&N products are high quality, I never had any issues with them. On a Ducati 748 it's very helpful to have an oil filter with a 17mm nut because of the limited room to use a conventional oil filter tool. And that's one less tool to bring to the track. Well worth the money. Remember recycle the old one ;-)

K & N are far superior to standard filters. This is excellent value so I always change the filter when the oil is changed rather than every other change.

The hex tip makes the fitting way easier

I can't really comment on how it filters.

With so little of the filter protruding from the engine casing it's a real faff to remove the regular filer. The K&N filter with the nut on the end means you can easily turn it and use a torque wrench for installation too.

Simply second to none. Higher filtration area than OEM. Nut for easy removal. Lockwire ready.
