Shark Spartan 1.2 - Strad Matt Blue / White / Red

I have had a few Sharks in my time. This is as are the others well made and a go to helmet of choice. Excellent fitting and paint work to die for. Really really pleased.

Owned a few helmets and only 1 has been under good in terms of comfortability and so on, but this one is the most comfortable and I think stylish with the rear spoiler for aero and also not as loud as my other helmets wind noise wise either. Great job shark

I love my shark helmet I went out year's ago to buy an Aria RX7 but it didn't feel right tried on. Shark RSR and bought it had Shark helmets ever sconce

Nice fitting helmet and good quality padding. A lot quieter than my s900 so was worth the extra cost for a more quality product

I have an Arai and Shoei and this is by far the most comfortable for my large, round head. I knew I would be riding into the sun and then into the dark so wanted internal visor that I could withdraw without having to pull over to take my sunglasses off when it got dark. I use Shure Aonic headphones and this helmet is the only that doesn't have my head aching from having them pressed into my skull. The noise suppression is surprisingly good as well. This has gone to the top of my favourite helmets list.

Bought this as a step up from my usual cheapo lids. Not disappointed. Very comfy, excellent vents, especially the chin bar one, which demists the visor really quickly. I haven't fitted the Pinlock yet, so maybe even better then. Good feature is the chin cover thing, and double D strap, but a bit fiddly as I'm used to microlock buckles. Noise level much less than previous cheaper helmets, and totally silent with good ear plugs. Very good value with the SBS discount. Would definitely buy Shark brand again.

So I had a Caberg flip helmet which was noisy and heavy. This is light comfy and just perfect. My Bluetooth sena fits in so easily. And to fit is so easy because of the unique design that you don't have to take it apart to fit. Also the brilliant chin cover which I only just realised that folds away. It's just a very light comfy well made and thought out helmet and looks amazing in black and blue

I bought this as a replacement for my previous Shark Spartan helmet. It's pretty much helmet perfection: the light weight (happily worn for whole days of riding with no fatigue), the integrated sun visor, the pinlock insert that's provided. It works great with Sena headsets too. But by far most importantly: I threw myself head first down the road wearing this helmet, writing off my bike and fracturing my spine in the process. The helmet took substantial damage, my head didn't. No bruising, and no dizziness or concussion. A helmet that I know I can trust with my life, and one that is very comfortable and practical all the while!

Full cover sun visor unlike some others.
New liner is an improvement.
Easy fit for Cardo and Sena intercoms.
Highly recommended.

After looking at a number of revues from MCN, Etc, I chose this.
A little more expensive than the Competitors, but it has recesses in it for the Glasses Wearer, which the other helmets I tried did not.
As a new biker, I also like the high visibility colour flash on it

Great fit out of the box, lighter than expected weight, looks better than in the pics high gloss paintwork, modern but classic style, high quality finish, with premium fittings, neat features that would normally cost a lot more adding to overall high rating with benefit of high safety ratings

Moved from a Shoei and glad I did: skull ache gone! Well made and quiet at motorway speeds. Ventilation is very effective and the sun visor is a bonus.

SBS Leeds were brilliant.

Excellent quality helmet inside and out, plush and comfortable interior, good finish outside, with neat chin baffle and drop down sun visor both of which work very well.

Great value, and quiet too!

Only two shell sizes, but the larger of the two doesn't look big.

Stainless steel side rivet is the only thing looking out of place, but now I'm being really fussy!
