Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers have mixed opinions on these jeans. While some appreciate the comfort, quality, and protective features, others find issues with sizing and the fit of the knee protection. Notably, the AAA rating and protective armour are highlighted positively, though some customers urge cautious consideration of waist measurements due to stretch. Compliments include the fabric's flexibility and overall aesthetic appeal. However, there are concerns about the snug fit around certain body areas and potential differences in advertised and actual sizing.
Good fitting trousers, good quality . Super quick delivery and communication from seller. Knee pads a bit low though.
I will state this once and only.
These are not the same quality of another UK brand which only sell direct.
At £99 they are a fair price but at full cost compared to those they would score way lower.
They have a slight odd fitment with a bit of extra material at the upper outside thigh area which is not linked to the armour. They also size up a little on the large size.
Pockets for the knee armour have two positions but are a little flimsy and I feel it would be say for them to drop or twist.
Overall they look ok and for a AAA rated product are cheap, but that’s it they are cheap.
I found the sizing to be perfect and the jeans certainly feel good quality, considering the price. My only negative is that I find the need protection to be positioned too low and for me it could do with being 7-8cm higher, but I guess we all wear our clothing differently and we all have different legs!
I especially liked the fact that the knee & thighs protector’s included inserts were included in the price & not sold as accessories, also the jeans are really comfortable & feel very protective & such a great price too
Spotted these on sale at a bargain price. Ordered my usual 32 x 32 size and they are a pefect fit. The armour is top level and is virtually invisible when fitted. Really flexible and nice and slim.
"Straight fit" easily goes over top of boots, plenty of the usual pockets and soft comfortable denim so all good!
Good fit, really comfy. Slide down the road with these on. No rips just slight scuffs. They did a brilliant job.
Fit and finish lacking somewhat and the protective pads sit slightly off the knee but otherwise look and comfort are fine.
I bought these recently as i’m hoping to buy a motorcycle in the near future and came across these on sale at a great price at SBS.
They look like normal jeans, fit well, nice slim fit for me. The armour in the knees isn’t that flexible at the moment ( I don’t know if it needs to be broken in and they become softer). I was hoping that I could just keep all the armour in and wear the jeans at work but I don’t think that would be possible as my job involves moving around and bending my knees a lot.
I was very pleased with the quality and wearability of these jeans at a very reasonable price with discount
Really pleased, great jeans, very comfortable on and off the bike, true to size (I think), this is my second pair, I have a blue pair already.
Good fit, highly rated for slides, bit tight. Waterproof resistant coatings wears off after a couple of washes and the water branding patch from the back of the waist disintegrates. I wouldn’t buy them again but at the same time I’m not returning or asking for a refund.
In a regular they are nearly too long when standing with no shoes but short when riding, odd how it works. Armor also bends slightly inwards rather than outward so not ideal. Good value for money AAA rating wise.
These jeans are a great fit and really comfortable considering they are AAA protection rated. Got them at significantly discounted price so very pleased overall. Well done SBS.
I'm pretty happy with the Bull-it Covert Evo Straight Covec Jeans so far; the quality feels really good, and they seem to offer a genuinely high level of protection. What I appreciate most is that they look just like regular denim—they definitely don't scream "motorcycle gear" like some other riding jeans do. However, a quick note on sizing: I usually wear a 36, and that's what I ordered, but they feel a little big on me, so you might want to consider sizing down one size for a better fit. As for the armor, the inclusion of hip protectors is a huge plus, though the knee pads seem to take a bit of fiddling to get them aligned right on my knees. That might just be me needing to adjust them properly, but overall, they're a solid, protective, and stylish pair of riding jeans.
Sit exactly as they are expected, protection pads in their places

The shower resistant coating applied to Bull-it products is a chemical product that makes the microfibres of the product stand on end. This barrier of fibres stops water drops from being able to soak into the surface of the product, however this coating will progressively fade with time. To refresh this coating, a Reproofer kit can be applied.
Yes, the jeans are single layer Covert reinforced with Covec LITE lining in key areas.
