Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers generally commend the jeans for their comfort, quality, and impressive value, noting the stretchability and AAA safety ratings. While they appreciate the inclusion of knee and hip armour, a few highlight issues, such as inconsistent sizing and misplaced knee protection. Many suggest sizing down due to the jeans' stretchy nature. The jeans' versatility, allowing them to transition seamlessly from riding to casual wear, is a frequent compliment. Overall, the jeans are recommended for their stylish appearance, comfort, and safety features.
Good fit 34W 34L . Good quality and comfy from the off.
Thought I’d give these a go as it seems to be the trend at the moment. I’m struggling to understand why you bother. The cuts horrible, boxy and leg length is way off. They’re thick so in the heat will be no better than leathers. You wouldn’t wear them all day. The slip in hip and knee protection is terrible. Just pockets sewn inside that you slip the protection in. It doesn’t hold it in place and with the hip protection in it’s uncomfortable. I’ll just stick to the leathers. These will be going on eBay.
First time wearing biker jeans, very happy, good quality and comfortable
I've had many jeans, but these have to be the best fit I've had. All others I've either had to take the hip or knee protection out. But on these I haven't as they fit so well and comfortable when riding.
Perfect jeans for riding, very comfy and can barely tell there padded jeans! Fit is really good on sizes!
Nothing better than having a decent pair of jeans that offer protection and look good
Comfortable jeans for long distance rides. Ankle is snug to tuck in to boots. Zipper to connect to matching jacket. I purchased as a matching pair.
My wife purchased these jeans for me they are very comfortable and they allow you plenty of movement the armour in the knees and hips are amazing they are super lightweight and you can’t feel them but you know you’re safe if the worst should happen. Overall 5 stars
These jeans are super comfortable I went for a ride and wore them for the rest of the evening with the pads in. I’m normally a 32 but had to size down to 30 and they fit perfectly the return was literally a 2/3 day turnaround from me sending back to receiving the replacement!
Great Jeans, good price and slightly stretchy material so fit nicely. As with other reviewers I ordered a size down. I am usually a 36w and standard leg. But I got a 34S in these and they fit perfectly. Pads are removable for washing etc and they look just like normal Black Jeans.
Positives are the price and quality of fabric …. but sizing is out. Buy next size down from your normal waist size and maybe shorter than your normal leg length. If ordering online I suggest getting a couple of sizing options. Knee pads are bulky and positioned in such a way that they will protect your shins and not your knees. So uncomfortable that I can’t wear them, so jeans no longer have a AAA safety rating when I’m wearing them ?♂️ Quality of material is great but really heavy. I purchased these for summer riding but I think they will be as hot as my leathers to wear. Honest opinion is, save up and buy a more expensive pair if you can. All of the above is only an opinion, so you may not agree with me at all. Top service as always from SBS and will continue to buy from them as I have done on many occasions.
Bought these for local short rides.they are comfortable and easy to wear complete with good protection.
For some reason I missed or ignored the advice to go a size down with these, and bought my usual waist. I ended up having to return them (no issues there of course, SBS always great to deal with!) and go a size down. Even now I have to belt them up pretty good, and I would be tempted to go 2 sizes down if I buy a second pair. Overall though they are very comfortable, not ridiculously heavy (but they are proper jeans so expect that bit of restriction) and they do feel like they offer good protection. Hopefully I never have to find out. I think some might remove the hip armour on these, but I am fine with it so I've left it in.
They look pretty good for bike jeans as well; if you take the knees out you could probably sit comfortably for a good while and most people wouldn't know the difference.
Bought a pair of Covert Evo jeans from Sportsbikeshop. Jeans arrived next day and fitted perfectly, very pleased with them. I've bought from Sportsbikeshop before and have had absolutely no issues with my purchases, so more than happy to recommend them.
Being new to biking I wasn't quite sure what I should buy. However the information provided, the support from staff and the quality of the product all lead me to these jeans. They are fantastic value for money and feel and look great.
I've tried RST and Oxford jeans in the past trying to get a decent fit, but so far these Bull-it jeans are the best. They are actually long enough for my long skinny legs - at 6ft 2" this has always been an issue. I'm a 31" waist so sized down to a 30" and they fit tight, but not uncomfortable as they have some stretch. Safety rating was a big plus... the armour is a little chunky but I feel protected and it's not too noticeable so you could wear these out for the day if say you were just travelling to/from your destination. SBS service was top notch as usual!
The jeans seem to be very well made and fitted perfectly and felt very comfortable. I ordered my actual size and was surprised that I did not end up having them altered.
And yes I would buy them again.

The shower resistant coating applied to Bull-it products is a chemical product that makes the microfibres of the product stand on end. This barrier of fibres stops water drops from being able to soak into the surface of the product, however this coating will progressively fade with time. To refresh this coating, a Reproofer kit can be applied.
Yes, the jeans are single layer Covert reinforced with Covec LITE lining in key areas.
