Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers express mixed reviews about these jeans, with some praising their comfort, safety ratings, and fit. They find the stretch fabric accommodating for various boot types and appreciate the discreetly positioned armour. While many are satisfied with the quality and look, others note issues with waist sizing and the knee protection's positioning. A few customers suggest sizing down due to stretchiness. Overall, the jeans offer good value, protection, and are well-suited for motorcycle riding with some adjustments needed for optimal fit.
These jeans are a great fit and really comfortable considering they are AAA protection rated. Got them at significantly discounted price so very pleased overall. Well done SBS.
I'm pretty happy with the Bull-it Covert Evo Straight Covec Jeans so far; the quality feels really good, and they seem to offer a genuinely high level of protection. What I appreciate most is that they look just like regular denim—they definitely don't scream "motorcycle gear" like some other riding jeans do. However, a quick note on sizing: I usually wear a 36, and that's what I ordered, but they feel a little big on me, so you might want to consider sizing down one size for a better fit. As for the armor, the inclusion of hip protectors is a huge plus, though the knee pads seem to take a bit of fiddling to get them aligned right on my knees. That might just be me needing to adjust them properly, but overall, they're a solid, protective, and stylish pair of riding jeans.
Sit exactly as they are expected, protection pads in their places
These were well made and comfortable. The stretchy material means you can order one size down for an even better fit. Complete with knee and hip armour these are a bargain for £99.99 so much so I bought 3 pairs
Comfortable, stretchy, ordered a size too large, but has room to layer up for those chillier rides.
Armour doesn't feel bulky, and seems to provide good protection, luckily haven't had to test the protection yet.
Would buy again, especially if they made a waterproof version of this.
I ordered these in my correct waist size and length but when they arrived they were far too tight to squeeze into and I felt like I was walking like John Wayne, returned them and bought a waist size up but these were then far too big and kept sliding down even with a belt. Overall the jeans are of good quality though, nice and thick and a bonus is they come with the armour for the knees and sides
Good looking product, offering good protection at a great price.
These jeans are perfect for daily wearing when at work, and the AAA rating and level 2 knee and hip armour provides good peace of mind.
Never have I found more versatile jeans than I have here. Comfortable, true to size and well padded. Knee & hip protection easy to remove and fit, never becomes a bother when wearing.
Wear these for riding but also for the office since they're comfortable enough and means 0 hassle when leaving work to ride home.
I ordered some cheap bike jeans (if £70 is cheap) elsewhere and they were good jeans but pretended to be bike jeans with a loose lining, sent them back. The Bull-it Covert are superb with a fully sewn in integrated lining, a waterproof coating and adjustable armour pockets.
They are quite heavy so I use braces to hold them up which works fine, the sizes are generous so you might want to go down a waist size and the leg length is ample.
First ever pair of biker jeans and love them the are cool in the summer let just the right amount of breeze though the padding is great. I've since washed and re waterproofed mine. There are showerproof anyway but I would never expect them to be fully waterproof. Comfortable to use when off the bike.
I read a fair few of the reviews posted on the site as well as on other sites and they came highly recommended, I can't fault them. The sizing was spot on. The quality is excellent and they feel great when worn. I haven't worn them in the rain as yet but I'll carry over trousers for longer journeys. just in case. where's the rain gone!!! thoroughly recommended, especially at the sale price.
Had multiple pairs of Bull-it jeans. As always these are comfy for a lad like me 22st and 6”2 they have a god bit of stretch to them as well so easy to wear at the start of the season after an overly festive Xmas. These had the hip armour also which is comfy but it I can I will swap it to some ghost padding . Still look fashionable also which is good. As always these are good , nice fit comfy and look good and also don’t break the bank
Great jeans - warm and comfy, armour easily removable. Only reason not 5* is the blue colour looks a bit cheap and bright (I ordered the black ones instead and much prefer them)
Very comfy, easy to remove armour and wear as jeans. Warm, even on my 7C 45 minute commute. Good level of protection. Would definitely recommend.
Got these and Bull-it Tactical Icon Slim Covec Jeans, for the extra 10GBP, going from AA to AAA is worth it. The CE2 armour they come with is soft, didn't fill me with confident so swapped it out on the knees for seeflex and a lot more breathable. Kept the hip as their seesmart / seesoft are CE1 where are the yellow ones are CE2. Being Straight cut you do have to think about how you get them inside / over your boots. Also sadly don't have a waist back zip so can't attach to rev'it jackets.

The shower resistant coating applied to Bull-it products is a chemical product that makes the microfibres of the product stand on end. This barrier of fibres stops water drops from being able to soak into the surface of the product, however this coating will progressively fade with time. To refresh this coating, a Reproofer kit can be applied.
Yes, the jeans are single layer Covert reinforced with Covec LITE lining in key areas.
