Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Customers have mixed opinions about the jeans, with some praising their comfort, quality, and value. The stretch fabric offers a snug fit and accommodates boots well. However, the fit can be challenging with inconsistencies in waist sizing, requiring some customers to size down or up. Knee and hip armor are noted, but knee protection placement issues are mentioned. While generally recommended for their daily utility and safety ratings, some wish for improved fit adjustments.
I have been riding with these jeans for 2 months, covering around 5k miles in all sorts of weather, with temperatures between 2 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius. They are very comfortable, and perfectly true to size. The colour is starting to show some fading, as expected with such deep blue jeans, but it looks good. Water repellency is decent, with light rain not penetrating at all, though I haven't washed them yet so can't comment on how it will hold up in that regard. I'm not a fan of the foam armor they come with, and as with any clothing item, I've upgraded to the thin flexible stuff like D30 which has made them even more comfortable.
These seem like well made Jeans initially pleased but after a few rides, they really ride up over my boots. Think it is the armour it comes with, even in the lowest setting it somehow rides up onto of my knee - not great, might have to try some softer inserts? I'm also not crazy tall 6 foot 2. Disappointed really.
Great fit although had to buy the long leg length as no regular were available, wonder webb worked well.... the knee and hip protectors good quality
Perfect fit (36W x 30L), fast delivery (within 24hrs), gret online price too.
So comfortable and exactly the right fit! Look great as well!
As others suggested went a size down and they fit very well. Unfortunately there was no armour with them but 1 phone call and new armour arrived next day.
Seem well made, armour is good but the knee armour is a bit faffy to take out/put back in due to it being an internal pocket with a narrow leg.
They also seem to run a tad long in the leg even with the short leg option.
A well fitting pair of AAA rated jeans with CE 2 hip and knee protection. Smart and loose enough to wear all day in the office but won't flap about whilst riding. Unlike other riding jeans, these do not bulge where the hip and knee armour is fitted. They're slightly oversized, so order one waist size down but use your normal leg length.
Really good fit. Quite loose fitting. Well made. Material nice and thick but sort and doesn't restrict movement.
Comfy, great fit, armour in the right positions
Top quality product, fits good, very pleased with it.
Best bike jeans I've bought and at an unbelievable price
I'm 53, about 5'8 in my riding boots. (higher stand Daytonas!!) and I've chosen the short length which I still turned up for practical and aesthetic reasons. The waist measurements was a 32" which was generous so I wore a belt and with that in place they fitted beautifully.
Bear in mind, these jeans replaced a cheapo pair (about half this price), that I bought from Amazon which are way too tight and the armour pockets were pretty cr@ppy. So the adage "poor man pays twice" is very germane here. These, however are very very comfortable and I think I could easily wear them to the pub or at work without too much visibility that they're biking jeans.
I'm very very pleased and as ever, SBS came through with quick and efficient, effective delivery.
Highly recommended.
Great motorcycle jeans, well made and excellent knee and hip protection. Quite large made and long too. I m usually a regular leg length in standard jeans but a short is long enough in these jeans. I m also usually a 36 waist but 34 in these jeans. Comfortable and look good
Great price for a AAA rated jean, but way too long. Bought regular which you would assume 32" inside leg. Approx 4" too long.
I've heard a lot about Bull-it and it's all true. Comfortable, great armour with adjustable pockets - love them
Bought these as they were AAA rated and also discounted. Had to go for a size smaller than I usually take, as the do come up a bit on the large side. But they are very stretchy give me protection on the bike and look good off of the bike. Seem to be well put together, but I hope I never have to try the protective qualities of these jeans.

The shower resistant coating applied to Bull-it products is a chemical product that makes the microfibres of the product stand on end. This barrier of fibres stops water drops from being able to soak into the surface of the product, however this coating will progressively fade with time. To refresh this coating, a Reproofer kit can be applied.
