Knox Ladies Urbane Pro Trousers - Black

I only ride as a pillion, but I still want to have safe clothing. I have always hated the traditional motorbike clothing, finding it too heavy and restrictive. As a woman in perimenopause, with fluctuating weight and hot flashes, wearing that restrictive gear just made me cry. Buying the Urbane Pro set from Knox has changed all that. It is soo comfortable, because it is slightly stretchy, and the ventilation is brilliant. Note: You need a tight fit for it to work properly! Sizing comes up slightly small, I measures an 18 from the size chart but eventually went with a 16.
Bought mine so I can wear a merino underlayer under both trousers and jacket. The high waist is super comfortable.
Also looks good and much easier to move around in when off the bike.
Another bonus: No velcro, so it does not get stuck on and ruins any "fluffy" garments you might be layering with.

I was after a pair of trousers that offered good protection while still being flexible and comfortable to wear both on and off the bike - these definitely fit the bill on both counts. These trousers are AA rated yet still light enough to wear on hot days thanks to the vented panels. The armour is nicely placed as well as being discreet.
They are quite high waisted so if that's not your thing they could prove to be a little uncomfortable but honestly, the material is so soft it really doesn't feel like that much of an issue to me.
They are quite long in the leg though and with no alternative leg length offerings, shorter riders will most likely have to roll up the cuffs around the ankles.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I recommend these trousers highly.

I am a size 14 but had to take a 16 to get the waste size I need. 1 am 5’6” with long legs but still found the legs very long. Easy to take up but will leave long to avoid draught at the ankles! Nice comfortable fit. Very generous on the thighs - too big for me but ok. The fabric on the knees keeps them warm and the mesh lets air in on calves.
