If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Good quality and price.
Great additional product to enhance rider safety,
After much research and especially the quality reviews from this site and others.
I went for furygan for price, operation of product and worn under your biking gear
You forget you're wearing it. I chose the monthly subscription and my neighbour recommended me and we both got three months free. He is professional track racer, so I was even more happy with my choice after the sale finding this out. As I've purchased several expensive items from Sportsbikeshop and agree totally with other reviews, they're professional service best priced, great communication and after sales second to none. Very happy. Thank-you
I'd previously owned the Dainese Airbag Vest but found it very bulky under my jackets. It was also not very breathable.
The Furygan is far more ventilated and a lot less bulky.
It's a great comfortable airbag vest using the In & Motion system which I find great as I have other one piece leathers using this system. Great service as ever from Sportsbikeshop.
Been using helite tethered vest for years now lost bit weight was too big, so opted for In-motion due to cost and the fact it constantly gets updated subscription is £12 per month which am fine with, these things are snug fit am 44 chest opted for xxl for me fits fine very comfortable more than happy with my purchase.
Wore all week on trip to Wales, comfortable although it was warm in a very warm week. Nothing that was not manageable. Good fit and looks great. Thankfully never had to test Airbag.
Did a fair amount of research before deciding to pull the trigger on this. In my view, it's a direct upgrade to the excellent Rukka Kastor 3.0 which has served me well for several years, the reason being it comes with the passive D3O CE L2 back protector as standard and has the ability to purchase the D3O CE L1 chest protectors (which are identical to the Kastor 3.0, I just swapped mine over).
At the time of writing, none of the other air vest manufacturers who are using In&Motion have the option for the chest protectors, and I think they only have CE1 back's (although you can purchase the CE2 separately and it seems backwards compatible).
So with the above, whilst I'm reasonably confident I should be able to keep the In&Box 'brain' charged from a power brick during longer trips away, I think the battery is around 2250mha so you should be able to get several charges out of a decent power bank, enough to last a few weeks at least I'd imagine. However, if it were to run into problems, it outright failed, or it just went off, it still offers the same passive protection as the Kastor 3.0.
So about the In&Box pricing… I think the vests themselves are cheaper to purchase than something like the mechanical Helite Turtle, but factor in the In&Box pricing and this is more expensive. You can opt to purchase the In&Box outright, upfront, essentially doubling your initial outlay, or you can go down the subscription route. I'm not a huge fan of subscription models, as there obviously becomes a point where it's cheaper to buy it outright than keep 'leasing', but In&Motion do offer the option to purchase the In&Box at the end of the 3 year lease, which only makes it slightly more expensive than having bought it in full from the offset.
Worth noting that they do have a referral scheme where it seems to reduce a years subscription by 25% for both the referee and referrer, so if you can do this a few times it's possible the subscription model could actually work out cheaper. This made it a bit easier for me to get behind.
One other thing I noticed re prices, is that some of the mechanical bags do need regular servicing, which comes at a £ (in a sense, equivalent to the subscription). Whereas I believe this doesn't require that and is rated for…. I think 3 uses before needing to send back. With the replacement inflation canisters' (which are an argon mix and more expensive than the basic CO2) there's also an inflation value to allow you to check the integrity of the bag.
Having to pay extra for the off-road & track modes is somewhat questionable in my opinion, given the already high costs, but I do neither of these so it's not an issue for me personally.
I'd recommend anyone thinking on purchasing these try on in-store, but a medium fits me perfectly. I'm 6ft, ~32" waist, and a UK size 40 / EU 50 in Rukka (Nivala & Forsair) for comparison. I spent a lot of time checking there was space in the Nivala & Forsair suits for the airbag before purchasing and there is, at least for me (there's a fair amount of stretch material on the Nivala).
Overall really happy with it. Runs a bit hotter than the Kastor did, but there's quite a lot packed into it so it has to be expected. They've done a good job with the mesh on the jacket I think, and I'm happy sacrificing a tiny bit of comfort for the added protection the airbag will give if I ever were to have a crash.
Very comfortable. Haven't try it in hot weather but it seems to have good ventilation. I opted for this one vs the other systems for 2 reasons:1. You can select between road, track and off road use, so it's is very versatile comparing to other brands.2. comparing to the rest od inemotion systems such as klim, ixon etc the Furygan is the only one with level 2 back protector and insert for passive chect protectors making it the best option for adventure use as ever if you deploy it, you could carry on your trip as will still offer passive protection as any standard body armour.
Only negative part is that you have to pay extra to access off road mode, what I think is ridiculous when you are already paying £120/year subscription
Comfortable, Level 2 back protector and the battery lasts for weeks with daily commuting.
Lots of people are getting upset about the fact you have to subscribe to the tech in these airbags BUT I see the subscription as a good thing.
I get software updates,
I get an unlimited warranty on the tech,
and if they bring a new version of the tech out in 3 years I get it included in the subscription.
My only complaint is that you have to pay extra for the track and off road algorithms which I think is taking the P slightly.
All these vests are basically the same but the furygan has a level 2 back protector.
Comfortable to wear. Size seems to be correct normal xl clothes for me, the xl vest fits nice over a base layer.
In motion app is good easy to use.
You need to check that your jacket has enough expansion room to fit the deployed vest.
You can also wear a backpack but again it dose need to have room for the vests expansion if the worst happens.

I can confirm the product is sold with a gas canister, you do not need to purchase one separately.
