The jackets gives excellent ventilation options, and the combination of a separate thermal and waterproof liner works well when it's cold and wet, but less so when it's warm and wet.

The cut is quite short so make sure that the waterproof lining overlaps the matching trousers if you are buying those too, or heavy rain gets in.

The jacket itself is perfect - great option for touring. Phone/passports/papers fit well in the internal pockets, and then a couple exterior ones for everything else. The armour is well placed, and the jacket feels good once its on. As others have noted, its heavy but the weight disappears. I've not tried it in extreme cold but on a wet 16 degree tour I didnt even have the liner in and was very comfortable and dry.

Now onto the fit. I'm 6'6" with swimmers shoulders and a long torso. The 5XL fits well around the shoulders but unfortunately for me the jacket scales out and is probably more geared for bigger bellies - and it becomes rather short. It would be nice if the jacket had a "long" option.

A more normal sized mate has one and it fits him very well. So this criticism is more related to my body shape - but for other tall but more slender people just jeep an eye on this.

I have a few products from RST and this jacket is really good.
It might be a bit more expensive, but the quality is amazing.

I have used this is the pi**ing rain the past two months and in the crap freezing weather. This kit has been water tight and warm. Really good product and well worth the money. Lots of useful pockets. Highly recommended.

This jacket has been designed so well with every feature you can think of. Fit is perfect. Love it and of course the excellent first class delivery system Sportbikeshop has that is efficient and speedy!

I know and trust RST gear. Its always my "go to" for new gear. Ordered this as a replacement for my old and tired RST Adventure suit and it doesn't disapoint. Everything I have come to know and love about RST. Warm, dry, great fit, good ventilation (when required). The added bonus of, coming as standard with back, shoulder, elbow and knee (in the trousers,obviously) armour is good. So many now sell armour as an optional extra.
There was an issue with the zip when connecting jacket to trousers. Thinking it would get better with use, I stuck with it for a few months but it didn't improve. I contacted SBS who replaced the gear with no quibble what so ever.

I have been looking for an adventure style jacket for a while and eventually settled on the RST Pro Series. Its very warm and surprisingly comfortable for a heavy jacket with lots of protection. The inner liner is easy to take out and get back in. There are lots of ventilation slots and you can tell this will be a great four-season jacket. I have ridden with it in very cold wet weather, and it has been very warm and stays dry in heavy rain. Good selection of pockets which are well designed to keep the wet out. The dual zips at the front are easy to sort out meaning it's easy to take on and off. Although a heavy jacket, when on you don't feel the weight but get the confidence of good quality manufacture and a high level of protection. As ever Sportsbikeshop staff were very helpful.

First expensive to Me, jacket I've bought and I'm impressed, warm and wind and monsoon proof (uk weather haha). kept me dry on several trips during winter and I've remained nice and toasty. 2 large pockets on front and rear has big pocket on rear. Has removable liner for summer use, but I've kept it in as winter at moment.

Great all-weather jacket. Keeps you warm and dry at all times. The thermal liner is very comfortable and does a good job of keeping the water away if it manages to get through the jacket. I wear this jacket everyday in all weather conditions and have always been dry. True to size as well, so no need to order a size up. Dispatched and delivered on the next day, great service from SBS as usual!

I´ve tried a lot of suits before this buy and what I can say is that this is a very good product for the money, especially considering that you´ll have to spend much more to get the same from other reputed brands. Great fit and you dont´t feel like a stuffed rag doll. All the features needed to be an adventure and travel jacket. Very good ventilation for summer, warm for winter. love it!

A competitively priced product which easily covers my requirements.
Excellent fit with plenty of pocket space.
