Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
These are comfortable almost from the off. Purchased a UK size 8. I am broad in the foot and found them initially a little snug across the top of the foot even though I have plenty of toe wiggle room. They cover the parts that require protection and are great quality. Expensive, but that's the same for the majority of Goretex products. Shame these Goretex ones are only available in black.
on my 3rd pair, have had the X-Blend and 2 pairs of these Blend 2 Gore Tex over the past 6 years.
all have been 100% waterproof and very comfortable riding or walkng. I had the previous pair of Blend 2 for 3 years, that's over 60,000 miles, before they eventually leeked from where the gear shift hits the top of the boot.
that's the only thing I dislike about the Blend 2 over the X-Blend, no gear shift guard
Very comfortable from start. Look & feel good quality. Only a 4 as not tried them in rain yet
Very pleased warm comfortable and didn't leak on a very wet motorway ride.
Let's face it we all want full protection and waterproof boots that fit like slippers .. look no further these are the boots .
Uber comfortable dry and like slippers so comfy. You will not go wrong with these .
These are comfortable as soon as you put them on and they are even better when broken in!
The best casual motorcycle boots I have ever had in 39 years.
These boots have proved extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I chose the same size as my regular shoes, they felt quite tight (narrow) at first but have been excellent in use. Much easier to walk in than "tour" style boots which is why I went for this type.
Not been tried in the rain yet due to heatwave but Goretex is usually great. Recommended.
Maybe not stallion but the leather is quality and durable, comfy straight out of the box. These boots are a wide-ish fit but not overly so and the GoreTex lining is well done with no annoying seams or lumps to snag or rub against your feet or toes.
They look and feel like ordinary boots, not motorcycle boots, which make them ideal for everyday use at work or when walking. Highly breathable and feel cool in warm weather, so much so that I feel the need to wear Merino wool socks to keep my feet feeling warm when temp's are lower especially when commuting early mornings.
I'm pleased with their looks and fit, they are lightweight and comfy with toe, heel and ankle protection. Sizing is spot on and I feel that they come in at a reasonable price point for boots of this quality and spec. If you're in the market for a great looking pair of boots that feel really comfy, get these. Thanks to all at SBS, great bike store.
Have the original X-Blend in black and brown, both size 40, ordered these in 40 and they were too narrow, had to get next size up. the lace gap is still wide compared to X-Blend,
also not a fan of them removing the extra leather for the gear change.
Very well made with high quality materials. Great attention to detail. True to sizing and very comfortable and secure straight out of the box. They offer very good protection on the bike yet are comfortable for walking. They have toughened areas for gear change and brake lever without dodgy 'pads'. Did I say they're great for walking? They are! Genuinely waterproof as well. I have big broad feet so place high demands on, and have high expectations of footwear. These don't disappoint and I rate them highly. Good value, my go-to boots.
