Nolan N80-8 N-Com - Mandrake Metal White / Blue / Red

The most comfortable helmet I ever had.

First, what great service my SBS. Was looking at this helmet for ages and randomly found it elsewhere for much less. SBS matched the price so it was a no-brainer. Sunvisor is great, pre-installed pinlock, added safety features. Noise is a tiny bit more than my HJC but would recommend.

Had an N87 for about 6-7 years. I like Nolan's as they fit my head well. Didn't look at any others, went straight to the N80-8, same size, fit exactly as before. Easy choice. Still getting used to the internal visor lowering lever (didn't have that before), do wonder if the mechanism will last?
The very small one-click-up clear visor position is difficult to find, pretty useless and the next click up is a bit high for me. Maybe a 'click' in-between would be better.

Bought this helmet fits ok get on road and wind noise is horrible anything above 50 mph is too much im getting deff. And I'm wearing ear plugs. End up buying second helmet after two weeks.

I have purchased this helmet for a second time as my last one got bashed when an unkind driver ran me off the road (b#####d). I love the gold design (it’s a bit girly without being pink and the fit and comfort is second to none. Ventilation is good and the three stage integral visor is a must. My partner and I use the n- com with our Nolans. It’s great to be able to communicate whilst touring.
All in all this is the best lid I have ever owned and was so glad to be able to repurchase it. I will definitely be sticking with Nolan

For the money it’s a bargain. I have a Nolan N120 flip and wanted something that was a little lighter and less bulky, the advantage of this was I can swap my N-COM over. Yes it is lighter and less bulky and may become my go to helmet. It’s very slightly noisier than the 220 bit by no means bad, although I wear Oxford earplugs which help massively. The visor is positive, easy to remove and comes with the Pin lock fitted so that nice. It sits a bit higher up my forehead than the 120, even when adjusted, so visibility is better and has those natty pulls for the cheek pads should you need them removed after an accident. It has the current protection rating and looking online the Sharp is 4 out of 5 so good if not excellent. It’s reasonably plush and can be cleaned, works with my glasses and the top vent works well. The only downside is the front vent directs to the visor with nothing to the face so I expect I wil bend antifog on my glasses come the winter.

Great price quality ratio. Pin lock is pre-fitted and you barely get any fogging, amazing ventilation. Quality of all materials by Nolan is great. My only issue is the fit - I had an AGV XL size, whereas the Nolan on XL is extremely painful - I guess it will take a couple of trial and error attempts to get the right size. Would have been great if Nolan sold different foam size inlays.

Fits well and is true to size, found it hard finding a helmet that fit my glasses in comfortably, this one by far has been the best and most comfortable for me.

I've always wanted a Nolan helmet and didn't think I'd be able to get one with the small budget I'd set myself, especially with a 22-06 rating.

But typically great pricing from Sportsbikeshop meant this felt like a bargain.

The quality of the linings and padding is great, the metallic finish / paint is lovely, and the large 59-60 sizing is spot on (says 60 on the helmet itself).
Also the internal sun visor mechanism is nicely designed.

A nice all rounder to add to my collection.

I must admit that I bought this Nolan helmet on the strength of my previous Nolan helmet which has been excellent.
I've only had this new one for a relatively short time but so far it's proved to be very comfortable to wear. The dark visor is easy to use and the build quality of the whole thing appears to be great. If this one proves to be as good as my previous Nolan helmet I'll be very happy. So far, the signs are that it will prove to be equally good.

I tried a bunch of helmets as I have a head size 58 which is awkward, as medium large is usually the perfect fit & this one which is Nolan's Large size 59/60 fits me well, don't think a 60 head would fit well. I used it for 1.5 hrs on first ride & it was comfortable, everything worked as intended & the internal sun visor is a nice feature, plus it has anti mist which most don't. The first micro opening could do with being a little more open, as not much air enters as it's near fully closed. The visor is clear & distortion free. It's noisier than my old helmet, but my old one is the quietest helmet I've ever owned. Quality of materials is good & the ratchet strap with double lock works well. A good quality helmet at this price point.

Excellent quality very well put together, the addition of a sun visor really helps on sunny days, overall a very well made and comfortable motorcycle helmet.
