I have a lot of Oxford kit and whilst some sneer at it Im a fan..dont expect anything but quality from Oxford and Im not disappointed once more... lightweight and not bulky,long arms and a longer rear skirt ...job done..and it was reduced by £20...

Looks smart on and off the bike, the longer cut at the back of the garment is good. Worn with a base layer, long sleeved T shirt and a decent textile bike jacket in around 6 or 7 degrees, not as warm as I hoped. Well made and as usual, good service from Sportsbikeshop.

Warm and snug fitting

Nice mid layer fleece. Outer fabric is more of a stitched material, so hopefully won't bobble too much. Inner fabric is lovely and fleecy, so it will be warm. The neck is high and close fitting without being too tight, so good against draughts. The back is longer than the front.
Looks good off the bike, so can be used as a destination layer.
I sized down from a M to a S to ensure a good fit. I am a slim build with a 39inch chest and 32inch waist, and the M was just too baggy.
Overall it is well made and the usual Oxford good quality. I'd recommend this top

Size Large fitted me well - I'm usually a large size in jackets/shirts etc. Handy pockets, Can wear it under bike jacket, and around campsite etc once parked up. Holding the material tightly I could feel the warmth of my hand being retained by the jacket - but probably not very windproof...

Oxford Kit never fails to suprise me. A technical piece of gear for half the price of a high Street cheap fashion label - What's not to like?

Some reviews say the exterior is a "rough feel" top or "strange material' so ordering mail order I was anticipating considerably less than I received.
I actually really like the build quality and the material, I would just describe it flat with no pile.. its more tailored and tidier than a typical fashion fleece and on occasion acts as a very effective second wind barrier to my RST Windblock base. The best description I can give to the thickness of the fleece is it that it can sit over my RST Windblock base & still come in under my Oxford 'wax' jacket, albeit a litle snug.but all items are regular sized (M) per their descriptions on the site.. Come summer I'll breeze about with just this under my jacket, until then I'll wear it to the pub!

Stay warm this winter

Bought this to go with the advance Oxford base layers as a mid layer to be worn under my technical jacket. This fleece has a full length zip which amd two hand warmer pockets. Went out last Thursday with it on and I was pleasantly surprised at how warm I stayed during the ride, the fleece fills great under the main jacket and with the collar zipped up and a winter neck warmer it's toasty all the way. Can thoroughly recommend this product if your looking for a mid layer that doesn't break the bank but keeps you warm.
