Oxford Advanced Base Layer MS Top - Charcoal

This is my second Oxford Advanced Base Layer top. As they wear out, I’ve replaced my existing tops with this item. I mentioned in previous reviews that Oxford gear is top banana… great quality at a very reasonable price (largely thanks to Sportsbikeshop) there’s little not to like. Again, if Oxford University could row this well, Cambridge would indeed be in very deep trouble..!

The shirt works very well for what it is meant for. I would recommend it as part of a layer system.

I ride in all weathers and need some good quality base layers as part of a layering system to keep my warm on my bike. This base layer is perfect.

I workout regularly at the gym, so the code fit is second nature to me. It is flexible in all the right ways and not constricting. The material is comfortable and really help keep me warm on a recent ride, especially when I added in the Tucano Urbano Topwarm Vest Jacket (I have also left a review about that on the site).

After getting home after I ride, I kept it on for a session in my home gym. It didn’t get too wet or heavy from sweat from my workout and dried fairly quickly afterwards before I threw it in the wash. Will definitely be investing in a few more.

Great product but small sizing. Best order a size up.

Very well made. I ordered XL being a 44" chest but this was a bit too tight for comfort so gave these to the wife and ordering next size up. Best to think a size up on what you'd normally order I think, but quality is great.

A comfortable base layer, size is pretty accurate and keeps you warm without being sweaty.

Great base layer - not too warm so would need mid layer as well in winter.

Have tested both top and bottom’s on 2 different ride outs of about 100 mile each in about 10 degrees heat and can honestly say I am well impressed. Made a huge difference to my ride outs used these in conjunction with Oxford continental jacket and wolf kevler jeans. I ordered a size up after reading reviews and glad I done so. Delivery as usual from SPORTSBIKESHOP was excellent

What can I say, on the cold days, these are perfect as a base layer, coupled with bottoms.

Dose exactly what it says, its an ideal base layer and what I like best is no seams sounder my tight armour it dose have on folds or creases creating hot spots I will be getting a second one
