Quality comms at a good price

Comm unit is quality and tactile even with gloves on. Easy enough to fit but the speakers are 40mm so a bit bigger than some pockets in helmets so worth checking your lid first. Volume seems good but need to check on a longer ride.

First of all let's talk about the retailer. Amazing speed of delivery, well packaged, great communication and competitive prices makes you choose sportsbikes as your number one retailer for many biking items! Then the product purchased, easy to setup, aesthetically pleasing and does not remove anything from fashionable branded helmets, allows safer riding by connecting to multiple users, use it to warn of onstreet hazards or obstacles in road or use it to just catch up about the views on yoir travels! Or while not have the gentle sound of your favourite Spotify list innthe background while taking that relaxing ride out! Great choice of mounting options in the box assures fits all style helmets

The sound quality is very good and I'm now a fan of listening to music when riding. I have also 'meshed' it for a ride with others and this was easy to do and worked fine. Battery life seems good too.
It took about an hour to fit to my Nolan helmet; this was helped by watching YouTube for guidance.
Some helmet designs (Nolan) mean you have to use the supplied sticky pad mounting whereas I would have preferred the clip mount but so far, so good.
The speakers are good quality but depending on available space in your helmet may cause some pressure on your ears. A bit of trial and error needed to get their position right.
Overall, I'm pleased and the unit works well. As ever, excellent service from Sportsbikeshop.

Brought for my son.
Speakers are louder than expected so enjoys listening to music and satnav while riding.
Receiving calls is easy and sound quality fantastic .
Can’t figure out how to speak to the device to initiate calls yet but I’m sure we will.
Found it easy to fit and not too cumbersome.

Perfect Kit For Riding With Mates

I've used this now for a whole season and about 3000 miles. The battery lasts for absolute agessss, and in the eventuality that you get low battery while on a ride, stick a power bank to it for 10 minutes and you're good to go for the rest of the day. Distance from one rider to the next is impressive as long as you aren't in a built up area. Controls are easy to use while riding, even at faster speeds, I'm yet to figure out how to use the speed dial properly though. The sound is great, although I do wear 30db ear plugs so I leave them on max volume and get just enough sound coming through.

This is a great product. I have had a cheaper head set (freed con) and they were easy and good. The new Sena spider are brill. Can do everything my old 1 did and more.. very clear and good distance to talk..

My first branded unit (previously was using cheap chinese no brand unit), the difference is massive. Sound clarity very good, im really impress how easy and smooth their system is ( to connect with multiple devices like phone & android auto) and mesh is working really good. Been using it daily for couple of weeks, no issues at all. Battery last long time

I invested in the Sena spider ST1 dual pack after a terrible experience with a cheep version that was nigh on impossible to set up and use.
The ST1 is a breeze 1 button to link to your smart phone.
1 button to launch the mesh coms feature, it really is that easy.
Sena app is just as simple to use.
This week the coms feature was used during a 2 hour observed training ride and it worked faultlessly.
Now I fully realise spending a little more has actually been so worth it.

Featuring two different Sena Mesh Intercom™ modes: Group Mesh Intercom and Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom. When using Group Mesh, users create a private group that supports up to 24 riders over a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min 6 riders @ 1 mi / 1.6 km intervals). Users are invited into Group Mesh, for added control and privacy.
Premium HD Speakers
Superior audio performance as well as physical comfort can both be found in Sena's premium HD Speakers, which are included. The HD Speakers were designed with a low-profile and tapered bevel to reduce the possibility of ear-to-edge chafe, and fit into existing helmet speaker pockets. The HD speakers deliver crisp communication sound quality, with a marked increase in volume, bass boost, and clarity.
Smartphone Pairing & Audio Multitasking
Bluetooth 5.1 allows you to pair your smartphone to the ST1 in order to stream music, hear turn-by-turn GPS directions and take or make phone calls. The Spider ST1 is equipped with Sena's Audio Multitasking™ technology so you can have a conversation via Mesh Intercom™ while simultaneously operating your smartphone's Bluetooth features like music, GPS, or phone calls.

The new Sena Motorcycles App gives users a way to visually configure your device settings. Download from the App Store or Google Play store in order to customize a variety of settings and features, including the ability to remotely manage channel settings for Open Mesh, or even setting a private group for Group Mesh.

Can you connect 3.5mm headphones to the ST1?
February 14, 2023Unfortunately, the product does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack so you can only use the included speakers.
Will this connect to other branded Comms system?
