Oxford Cable Lube Tool

The cut of the rubber leads to an inneffective seal at the cable end - reading about this more generally it seems to be a feature of this type of tool whereby you need to be prepared for lube to ooze out of the rubber, particularly at the cable end = a messy and wasteful job and none of which is indicated in the instructions...
I gave up trying to use this tool as, mess/wasteage aside, I wasn't confident that more lube was going down the cable than oozing out of the tool itself.
There are better designed products out there which don't waste lube like this!

Took a few attempts to get cable in correct position but worked well when sorted

Makes cable lubing so much easier, and more likely to do it more often. A bit fiddly at first, but when I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. Very worthwhile having this in your toolbox.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Simplifies lubing cables!
