Rev'it Eclipse 2 Textile Jacket - Black / Olive

After getting a nice bit of road rash after a crash in Spain when wearing the obligatory shorts & T shirt, I realised I need more protection. After a lot of research and returned items, I found this Rev'it Eclipse 2. This is a nice lightweight jacket but the venting is literally through 90% of the jacket. I will be using this in September in Spain, but I am already confident it will be a great option for the Spanish climate. Great value for money and 10/10 service as always from Sportbikeshop.

I bought this to wear in Spain and although I have tried it yet, I am already really impressed with the quality and fit. In addition it looks great and is excellent value for money.

Really stylish and comfortable jacket, zips are good quality and the adjusters on the arm cuff and bicep work well.

Definitely keeps you cool in the summer, doesn't feel warm stopped at the lights and airflow is amazing on the move

Vertical zip pockets are nice and big, they go up so high I sometimes struggle to find the top to open them!

Good quality jacket and excellent service from Leeds Shop as usual. Armour seems fine and added a back protector. Jacket is light weight and comfortable but would advise a size up as fits small like a lot of bike jackets. Would have liked a phone pocket in addition to the one inside pocket and two external pockets. Would definitely recommend.

The Rev'it mesh jacket is excellent in hot conditions ,the air flows through the jacket and keeps you nice & cool. Quality and value for money are also very good. Best purchase I've made for a long time.

Jacket bought to fit over airbag vest so purchased much larger size than normal to meet the relevant safety requirements of the air vest /gillet.
Well ventilated, light colour helps in direct sunlight. Worn in July in Italy in 30 plus degrees and still maintained a comfortable temperature when riding.
Cuffs big enough for over glove if wanted.
Basic levels of protection hence 4 stars but fine for what I wanted in conjunction with separate air vest.

Decent fit and light weight. Certainly feels better in the higher temps and my t-shirt was dripping in sweat after the ride. I wear a think fleece when the temp is below 20 though. It's basically a mesh coat with fitted Armour, but pretty comfy.
Hopefully never find out how well it copes sliding down the road as it doesn't feel that robust, but impossible to tell until after the event.

Firstly the jacket is excellent, basically the wind just blows through it, so you're as cool as you would be in a t-shirt. The armour fitted gives protection without feeling cumbersome. I bought the back armour to provide further protection. I ordered two sizes of jacket to try on, store staff were helpfull and as they didn't have the colour I wanted in their stock, they ordered it and I received it the next day at my home.

Flows lots of air, well made, great choice of colours and very comfortable. Also the seesoft armour included is soft and comfortable.

Needs to be used with a thin T-shirt otherwise body doesn’t get the full benefit. Can be a bit fresh when temperature drops in the evening. Well made and stylish.
