Decent back protection, flexible and fits nicely in Rev'it jackets. Check what size you need for the jacket you are getting. I got a Rev'it Crux Sweater Jacket and Rev'it Altair H2O Textile Jacket, one wants a 4 the other a 5. Swapping a 4 between them for now. Feels pretty breathable, doesn't seem to add too much warmth vs the jacket with no protection.

Hopefully will never have to test the protection but helps my Eclipse 2 jacket remain cool whilst providing protection. Seems a bit odd at the moment since I'm not used to a back protector in a mesh jacket but I'm sure I will get used to the feel. I think it's a good idea to test it in the jacket first (which I did) since it does slightly make the jacket feel tighter.

Whilst I never hope to find out, this seems like it offers a good level of protection for your back. Used in a very light Rev'it summer jacket and I can barely tell it's there. But the design seems like it can take a decent impact. Very easy to fit and doesn't move around inside the jacket.

Not much to say about it really, it feels flat and bulky in the back of the jacket, especially without the liner in, but hopefully it will do the job should I be unfortunate enough to need it to do so.

This is a direct alternative to the standard RV model insert. It’s not clear on the product spec but this worked a treat for my jacket that required the RV - SIZE 05 insert. Just order the SIZE 05.
Unfortunately I’ve not noticed any real improvement to air flow but this was for a new jacket so nothing lost as it needed an insert anyway.

This back protector was a perfect fit in my Rev'it Vertical Gore-Tex Textile Jacket, soft and supple whilst providing good protection. My only issue is that despite the ventilation holes, inevitably it make the jacket a bit more sweaty, especially in the current heatwave.
