Resurgence D30 Knee/Elbow Armour

Bought this item to replace traditional rigid knee armour which was way to bulky and uncomfortable. The D30 is slim and very flexable, you wouldn't know it was there. It may have been me misreading the description but I thought I was buying a set of pads that would fit either knee or elbow I actually received a set of knee and a set of elbow pads, happy days! First class service from Sportsbikeshop, as always.

This stuff should be standard

This should be the default armour that manufacturers supply in their clothing. It is so comfortable and unobtrusive to wear. Even the slightly thicker level 2 Ghost armour is thinner and more flexible than many of the cup shaped protectors fitted into most clothing. There is really no excuse for not switching to this armour, it's a no brainer.

Snug fitting armour for jeans

Fits well into my Oxford riding jeans and much more comfortable when riding than the horrible knee armour supplied with the jeans. Has in place of Held D30 Armour as out of stock. Thanks again SBS for getting these quickly.

Bought to replace the, quite frankly, rather bulky and uncomfortable knee armour supplied with a pair of armoured jeans.
The ghost armour is far more discreet and comfortable while maintaining amazing flexibility and, one hopes, a good level of protection, should one ever need it - but here's to hoping that never happens.
Honestly can't think of anything negative to write.
As always, Sportsbikeshop provided excellent service and speedy delivery.
I keep bigging them up in every review but I never win the £100 they tell me I might. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, SBS!

Invisible armour

Exactly what I'd hoped for. Thin, lightweight and impossibly flexible. I bought these as an upgrade to transfer between items of clothing, but I leave them in my Oxford riding shirt because they really are "fit and forget" and when wearing it I don't notice they're even in there.

Ghost knee armour

Well have to say they are a lot more comfortable than the hard knee armour and even the non-Ghost D30 kit when walking around. Have yet to work out how to position them properly for riding in my Resurgence jeans. Maybe gluing velcro on the reverse side to mate with the velcro in the pockets? Yet to fall off the bike so protection is still to be tested!
