RST Pro Series Ventilator XT CE Textile Jacket - Silver / Black

Fantastic Jacket considering its brilliant price.
I wanted a summer jacket with decent protection. The Jacket itself is AA rated and it has decent armour in all the right places INCLUDING a level 2 back protector.
It fits well and feels really well made. Plenty of adjustments on the sleeves/cuffs and bottom of jacket to pull it in.
Feels like it will offer good protection.
With the liner in it feels really heavy, but once it’s on you don’t notice the weight. It’s very comfortable and the armour doesn’t feel bulky or ‘hard’.
I’ve not used it without the liner yet, and it was nice and warm at around 10 degrees c.
If this wore an ‘Alpinestars’ or ‘Dainese’ tag, it would be at least double the price.
I am usually an XL, but got a XXL RST jacket. Always worth trying on before you buy.
Very minor niggles. No zip pocket inside the jacket (Velcro) and the liner is a bit fiddly to remove/refit, but these are really nitpicking and in no way detract from how much I like it.

This is not a lightweight jacket, it's heavy and appears well made, it also fits nicely. I wore it with the excellent liner in on a warm 25' day and it was perfect, any higher and I'd remove it. Bought the trousers to match which again seem a quality item.
Seriously kicking myself for not looking at RST as a brand sooner, I tried the leather equivalent suit (return as leg too short) which was again superbly made.

Excellent mesh jacket, rst sizing is a little small so went 1 size up from my measurements, excellent fit. First time I've bought anything from Sportsbikeshop, excellent service, bought Saturday evening, was her Monday morning. Will definitely use again. Great price, great service

This feels like a robust and well structured jacket that fitted well to size. It's almost an all season jacket, cosy with the liner and airy without. The only down side is if you get caught in the rain and need to put the waterproof liner in whilst you're out an about, its a bit of a faff. For me the liner is for warmth (and it is that) and I carry a light weight rain cover in case I get caught out. The armer is really solid and reassuring and the fastenings and zips work well. The real bonus for me is that it does not flap around at speed. ( I have transferred a short zip from my previous jacket to match with my trousers but I I'll probably invest in some RST trousers if they are the same quality as the jacket )

I used the Try or Buy for the first time. Ordered 4 jackets in and they were waiting for me to try on in my own time. No pressure and it meant that my 3 hour round trip was not wasted.

I really like this jacket - this is actually my second. This one is a size up so that it will accommodate my airbag.

These jackets are lovely and cool with excellent venting but with the removeable lining in place, they’re fine at low temperatures too.

This is my second ventilator. The first one lasted 10 years so if this one lasts as long it’s grate value. Fantastic for those very rare hot days.

Wanted a summer jacket that was waterproof and offered good protection. This jacket is substantial and great quality. It fits well but initially was a little snug but Sportsbikeshop staff helped me choose the right size and I'm really happy with it.

Superb summer jacket, awesome ventilation and fit. Would have gotten 5 stars had it been AAA rated, but very comfy and comes with L2 armour which is nice.

Bit of a trans jacket ie don’t really know what it is? With full liner fitted it’s too hot in the spring/summer and without it too cool unless it’s 25 degrees. I ended up cutting the sleeves off from the inner liner as the sleeves aren’t vented

What I expected

No complaints so far - comfortable and fits wider shoulders/back no problem, comes with back/elbow/shoulder armour and removable weatherproof liner. Have only ridden with the liner in so far and am comfortable with just a base layer underneath in 12-13 degree weather.

Good quality well made jacket. Bought for use in summer.

I've been using this jacket for the last few weeks and have found it to be very warm in temperatures down to 3 degrees when I'm just wear my work shirt beneath. The armour is all in the right places and doesnt get in the way when putting the jacket on. Size wise I went up one from what I'd normally get a hoodie in and thats worked out spot on.

I have RST leathers and love them but on hot local days I fancied a light weight jacket. This one ticks all the boxes and zips to my leather trousers. It's light and airy but has great safety ratings so it was an easy decision yes.

Love the jacket and the fact that it can be used as a normal summer jacket and if it gets too warm the liner can be removed to use as a mesh jacket.
In past been on a ride when the weather stats of well to boiling point later in the day back to cool again. Great to have the option of a light weight waterproof liner.
