RST Maverick Evo CE Textile Jacket - Khaki Grey

This jacket fits well but isn’t waterproof even with waterproof liner. Removing the liner is a proper fiddly job, but it folds up small and can be stowed in the back pocket which adds a layer of insulation for your lower back. this jacket has both removable waterproof liner and thermal inner liner all of which zip together in a slightly cumbersome way. I use the jacket with a lightweight waterproof over jacket for riding in the rain as it’s more effective and convenient. I will probably upgrade the elbow armour as it is not the most comfortable. The venting works very well as do all the closures. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility around the cuffs. I consider this a good buy at this price point.

Really good jacket - fits perfectly, and has 2 detachable layers (waterproof and thermal) allowing for a number of configurations.

Bought this for the winter, it’s lovely and warm even when it’s minus oC. Armour feels good, no draughts at all. Got caught in the rain but didn’t feel any water ingress. Sizing was spot on. Got mine in the sale, so absolute bargain.

Great product, joining zip a little tricky but you get the hang of it.

Yes, there are lot's of layers in this but I did not feel cold on any day I rode in the winter, down to -2deg C. I look forward to removing layers for the warmer weather. Didn't test it in torrential rain but in the minor rain, I didn't get wet. Saving for the trousers now.

This jacket has so many features, it feels high quality and very good value and the discounted price. I have worn in low and middle range temperature and the ability to remove the lining and use the vents worked well. I would highly recommend this jacket and as usual great service from SBS.

Lots of intelligent features and vents to utilise.
Too many velcro fasteners for my liking and the inner lining is a bit loose and bulky making it difficult to find the arm holes.

Really nice top quality jacket, I have used it in near freezing conditions and it kept me warm and dry. Lots of attention to detail so it should be good in summer too with a layer or two removed. Definitely recommended, The green colour looks great too.

Well impressed

Purchased the jacket during January and it keeps you warm during very cold conditions. The protection (AA Rating) you get for the price you pay is superb. Would highly recommend.

Ticked all the boxes when I was looking for an all season jacket, but one for mainly colder winter rides. It's bright with a good level of branding across the body. The only negative being the use of velcro on the wrist cuffs. I would prefer a zip.
