Advice & Guides Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...

Build, quality and appearance of the trousers spot on. Can't wait to ride post winter.
I bought these in a sale and I'm absolutely delighted. It's serious quality kit in all respects and faultless to date. The build quality is in a different league to anything I've owned before. One small word of caution - do try before you buy or be prepared to do some exchanging (which SBS are brilliant at). Whilst the waist sizing chart is accurate, be aware the general cut of the hips / thighs is surprisingly slim i.e. you may need to go bigger in the waist to get a comfy fit in the hips/thighs. I went with an XL to accommodate my 34"/36" waist and think the hips/thighs are definitely snug despite my less than muscular frame!
I bought these to replace my 10 year old Rukka trousers that have only just started to leak.
These are a good fit, a little baggy in the thighs but I can live with that. They feel top quality and although they are quite light/thin you don't really feel the cold all that much because the fabric is so wind proof. I've only worn them once in light rain but they beaded the rain off and I stayed completely dry. I think for longer journeys I would probably wear a mid layer because they are not lined and might be a bit chilly if you're out for a while.
Overall I'm pretty happy with these so far, yes they are expensive but if they last well and more importantly keep me warm and dry then I think they are a good investment, especially when they were bought on an offer by SBS.
Great product the C1 fits perfectly they are comfy and I purchased the braces to make it all complete.
I bought these along with the jacket. Having come from an Oxford Hinterland suit, these trousers were perfect. The bottom of the legs fasten neatly and create a seal, to keep any draughts out. Plenty of adjustment in the waist and the bottom area has a kind of pad which is a bit weird at first but comfortable when you're used to it. I had constant rain for the first week I had them and they've been warm and completely waterproof. The hip armour is comfortable and the knee armour, although it looks like a pair of cricket pads, is comfortable and unobtrusive too. Would recommend.
Bought with the matching jacket and they make a great pairing. The build quality is great and they stop the wind and rain perfectly. They are a bit on the snug side which, together with the massive armour in them, can feel a bit restrictive. They're also a little snug around the ankle which can be make zipping them over your boots a bit of a faff. Still a good buy.
Trousers are excellent build quality. They are comfortable and flexible. Really good fit as per indicated size spec. Braces are also good quality and fit. Good protection from wind and rain Can't fault this product so far and excellent price. Highly recommended.
Whilst I needed to drop a size on the jacket, these trousers were true to my size. The fit [like the jacket] is close, and the leg length [regular] is perfect. Huge armour is reassuring and comfortable. When attached to the jacket it's a perfect fit. Very high quality trousers. Zero regret purchase, like the jacket. These too passed the rain test. Great price from SBS.
Really pleased with these. Fit is on the smaller side around the legs but good length and comfortable. Work well with uniqlo base layers for warmth.
Top class premium trousers. Just can't fault these trousers. Great fit and integrates with my existing Rukka jacket perfectly. I've been caught in a couple of downpours already and I kept 100% dry and laminated Goretex does not take on and water, so they dry almost instantly. Quality & performance what you would expect from Rukka, Worth every penny.
The only thing I miss is the zip in thermal liners, but it appears that Rukka is going over to the use of separate layer systems. (Not really a problem)
Love these pants. Fit great and feel really safe while wearing them
As per my jacket review these are quality made trousers. Make me feel safer on the road. So comfortable as well! Nice cut to them making them feel almost tailored!
As to be expected from Rukka, these trousers are incredibly well made, lots of features and excellent sized armour. Sizing can be a little bit confusing - I'm a 36 inch waist and 35 inside leg, I originally ordered a pair of XL (52) long to try on and while they fit me they were too tight to get my leg over the bike. So I've gone up to a 2XL (54) and they're perfect. Suggest get a size up from what you'd expect as the trousers are not as flexible as the Nivala or Comfo-R range.
Excellent quality well worth the money they are so comfortable to wear and very well padded, design on this trousers is perfect and they are made for all weather conditions. Well recommended I am very pleased.
First off I found these stiff to begin with for the first week of wearing every day. They were hard for me to swing my leg over my GS and I am a short as at 5'7. However they are now starting to give, but I had to remove the hip armour as my legs are quite big (quads) and I couldn't get comfy with them in. they are comfy around the waist and easy to adjust, and a breeze to attach the jacket, warm enough even with no liner, I also wore thermal underwear and that was toasty even during a 100 mile ride in a wind and rain storm. completely waterproof and great quality. I give it 5 star as it's not Rukka's fault I have quads like a body builder.
