More trainer than boot

Was after a casual boot for the days where we ride out to family to compliment the full height work boots.
These have a thin sole on the outside but are well padded on the inside, which gives a spongy feeling to steps. But with the reinforcement in the sole it also gives the feeling of walking with clasps, similar to cycling shoes. Strange feeling to get used too.
Laces do feel a bit low quality and are short, but do there job satisfactorily, they can be replaced if I need too. Velcro strap gives the ankle fit some adjustment. Due to an injury I have one ankle wider than the other and have to be careful regarding ankle armour and how tight any boots fit around the ankle, which these boots have got just the right tightness and the armour in the right place.
All together a very good trainer boot.
