You get what you pay for in my life experience and although I am a new biker, I have seen lots of jackets and cost variations.
So far the fit is perfect on me. The liner will be useful when it gets warmer, no ‘leaks’ of air rushing in and the elbow and shoulder armour are not noticeable very happy.

Looks amazing feels very protective.......but , yes there is a but unfortunately!!! When I bend my arms to open my visor it's too restricted in the elbows and my arms are skinny so tiny bit disappointing, however it really is a beautifully made Jacket so I'm willing to put up with it as fine when in the riding position.

Excellent Jacket

Comfortable from the off - wire it around the shop for over an hour while looking at other kit. At first the elbow armour felt a bit awkward, but this is my first motorcycle jacket. I soon got used to it but have bought more flexible level 2 armour to replace it with. The jacket felt really good out on the road. I had plenty of layering underneath and even on a 6 degree day wasn’t cold at 50 mph.

Only issue I found, can be tight around the elbow joint if wearing a jumper.

Could not fault the jacket, comfortable fit and best leather I've had for breathing/venting as low as 20MPH. The Oxblood colour is gorgeous just different from the run of the mill.

Really good quality jacket. Very comfortable.
Does not come with back armour but easy to buy for £30.
Slightly snug fit so size 1 up might give a looser fit but I like the snug fit.
Wrist zippers are chunky so tight gloves won’t go over but will fit under the jacket.
I really like it and recommend it.

Great Jacket - Great Value - Fantastic Quality

The first thing that strikes you with this jacket is its quality - it's fantastic and something you would have to expect to pay an awful lot more for. The finish, fit and quality of the little things is absolutely spot on, I really can't find a fault in the jacket.
The Fit is perfect for my size and I can fit a hoody if needed.
One thing of note, this Jacket is aimed at the Spring - Summer - Autumn bracket and has some fantastic underarm ventilation, however if you are just wearing a t-shirt in sub 10 degree temperatures it can get a little chilly. When the sun is out or you add a thin layer this Jacket is perfect and it looks ace.
Buy it, you won't be disappointed :D

Alton II though sees improvements from years of consumer testing and feedback, as well as new impact protection, in the form of D3O®. Riders can now benefit from a revised fixed mesh lining which allows for adjustable elbow armour positions, a fold back collar for summer riding, more ventilation in the front and rear of the jacket, as well as newly adjusted fit blocks to include such changes as more back length and an increased front neck drop to prevent rubbing on the neck.
